Together Again

I pulled away from him and entered the bathroom to change into an oversized shirt and shorts since we wanted to eat first. I took his arm and we left the room to see everyone in the dining room. I snuggled deeper into Ethan as he walked me to our seats. The smell of food, especially chicken fills my nose making my stomach growl.

"So, when am I expecting a wedding" my mum's voice broke the silence and I almost choked on my food. Ethan’s hand immediately rubbed my back to calm me down.

"Very soon ma" I choked again.

What was he saying? We just got back together. I was not ready for marriage.

"You people should let me eat na. Which one is a wedding," I said in pidgin language although I was secretly happy about this question and they all laughed.

"Má bínú" (don't be angry).

My dad replied, even though he was in support of his wife. We finished eating and went into our rooms to rest and change. We had 30 minutes to get ready and get there.

Okay, that was a pretty long break right? I apologize (lol) I'm back from my trip and it was so stressful, I barely had time to sleep... So, how was this chapter?
