ELISHA’S POV

“And what, Natalie has done nothing?” I said, standing as straight as I could, though my knees were trembling. “It takes two to make a scene, you know.”

The words felt foreign in my mouth—sharp, defiant, unfamiliar. I had never spoken to my father this way before. Hell, I had never spoken to anyone this way. Not teachers. Not Anthony.

Only in the privacy of my own mind.

My father’s eyes narrowed. His jaw set.

“Elisha,” he said slowly, his voice low and controlled, “you will lower your tone.”

But Dominic, always the peacekeeper—or the enforcer, depending on the day—stepped in, phone already unlocked.

“I think we should all watch this first,” he said.

He tapped the screen.

The video played.

There I was, frozen in a still frame mid-motion, hand raised. Natalie’s face contorted in mock fear.

He hit play.

The footage wasn’t long. Maybe twenty seconds. But it was clear enough: I was shouting. Natalie was cowering. My hand slapped across her face.

There was no context.

  • Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce   Chapter 48

ELISHA’S POV“You didn’t sign the papers…” I said, barely forcing my voice not to crack.“No.”The word hung in the air like smoke. It was flat. Empty. No anger. No guilt. Just a statement. A choice.I looked down at the papers resting on my lap, the crisp edges digging into my thighs. My fingers stayed frozen, too tight around the corner of the packet. For a moment, I couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe. He watched me. Quiet. Steady.“Grandad wants us to give this another shot,” he said finally. My eyes flicked up.“And what do you want?” I asked, barely above a whisper. There was a beat of silence. A pause that stretched too long.“I…”He didn’t finish.Of course he didn’t.Anthony would sooner die than admit a want or a need. That’s not how he worked. He took. He owned. He claimed. If something couldn’t be owned, it didn’t matter to him. Not enough to chase. Not enough to keep.He wouldn’t beg. Not even to save a marriage. Especially not one that had already died a hundred small deaths

ELISHA’S POVWe were just heading toward the exit when the aquarium doors slammed open. And there he was.Anthony.He looked like a storm. Tall, composed on the surface, but his eyes blazed with something I hadn’t seen in a long time—raw, unchecked rage. The air around him felt tight. Charged.“Anthony?” I said sharply, the surprise cracking through my voice. “What are you doing here?”He didn’t answer me.His eyes were fixed on Robert, burning holes through his chest. Robert, who had been laughing just seconds ago, now stood frozen beside me. Bubblegum growled softly at my feet.“I’m here to pick you up,” Anthony said. His voice was low, calm, but there was danger in it. His expression didn’t match his tone. “Time to go.”It wasn’t a request.I knew he’d seen the photo.Part of me wanted to explain—how it had been just a photo, a coincidence, a misunderstanding. But a darker part of me—the one he never allowed space to exist—felt vindicated. Even triumphant. He was jealous. And for o

  • Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce   Chapter 46

ANTHONY’S POVI watched her leaving with Sylvester, moving through the party crowd like she belonged. That had been my plan. Reinstate the balance. Make the family see her place. Show her she needed us. Instead, she had walked away with more respect than I’d given her in months. I clenched my glass, letting the warmth of the cognac seep into my hand. It wasn’t enough. When she had refused me in the pantry—standing so close I could feel her warmth—it had twisted something deep inside me. I tapped my index finger against the glass and knew then I’d crossed an unspoken line. I had to pull her back. But not just for me. For the empire. For the image. I had to make them believe she couldn’t do without me—even though nights alone had given me plenty of time to worry I might not want her back.I had pulled every string I possessed to ensure she had no real options. Calls to old friends, relatives; my assistant even dropped a note to employers hinting that hiring “Elisha Möller” might ups

ELISHA’S POVI slid the leash around Bubblegum’s neck as she wagged, tail swishing like a metronome.“There we go, baby girl.” I stood and turned to Robert. “Where to now?”“Hmm… aquarium?” he asked. “They might not allow pets… how about a park instead?” “No, I actually found one that does allow small dogs. It’s called Blue Escape.” Bubblegum gave a hopeful bark.“Seems like she likes it,” I said. “Perfect. And it’s a 20 minute walk away!” he exclaimed. ***The aquarium entrance loomed ahead. A quiet buzz of families and hushed excitement drifted out when we opened the door. Inside, cool air and soft lighting welcomed us. Bubblegum sniffed the air and took a cautious step forward. The first exhibit was a giant tank of gently swaying kelp. Warm, blue-green light cast dancing patterns across the floor. Whale song pulsed from hidden speakers. The deep, rhythmic notes felt like a lullaby.“This place is peaceful,” I said quietly, as if afraid to disturb the calm.Robert nodded, looki

  • Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce   Chapter 44

ELISHA’S POVThe moment I stepped back into the hall beside Sylvester, the energy in the room shifted. It was subtle, but it was there—the quiet hush of conversation, the sideways glances, the ripple of realization. This man beside me—this warm, brilliant, sharp-eyed man—was loved by everyone. And more importantly, respected. Not just because he was old, not just because of his success, but because of the way he carried himself. With grace. With thought. With real care for people.Sylvester Möller didn’t hand out affection lightly. So when he entered the room, arm in arm with me, the gossip paused. The doubts wavered. The whispers stopped—at least for now.He didn’t rush. Every step was measured. Every nod to a guest, every polite smile, was deliberate. Behind us, my family followed—Anthony with a clenched jaw, my parents with stiff expressions, and trailing at the very back… Natalie and Yasmin. And suddenly, Natalie was the runt of the litter. She was no longer the glowing center.

  • Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce   Chapter 43

ELISHA’S POVI didn’t hear the front door open. I didn’t hear the footsteps.I only heard the voice.“Well, this is quite the reunion.”Anthony.He stepped in, a look of both confusion and curiosity stark on his face. Behind him came another voice… “What’s going on here, is there a meeting?” Yasmin. Great. My stomach dropped.Natalie, still curled on the sofa like a staged photograph, suddenly gasped and pressed a hand to her lower abdomen.“Ow,” she said, her voice small and sharp. “It hurts. I think the baby… Oh my god, I don’t know, I’m cramping!”Immediately, everyone turned toward her.My mother rushed to her side. “Get her water.”“I’ll ask the staff for a hot water bag,” said my father.“Dominic, add another log to the fire,” Mom added quickly. “She’s too cold.”They scrambled. A flurry of movement. Fuss. Concern.Meanwhile, Natalie leaned her head back against the cushion and looked right at me.She smiled. It wasn’t kind. It wasn’t grateful. It was pointed. Precise. Like
