Serena

I am having a quiet day at home after a busy few days. I don’t plan on leaving the house. Conall is coming here after he finishes his work day and is bringing food with him, so there is no need for me to leave. I am reading a book with an iced coffee, snacks and the TV playing quietly in the background. It is bliss. I am in my PJs. I changed into clean ones after my shower. There is no point in wearing clothes if I am not going anywhere.

ConallThings have been good the last couple of weeks, quiet. There have been no issues, which has been great. I want to talk with Serena tonight. I have given her time. I haven’t pushed, but we need to work out exactly what we are. I just hope it doesn’t change all the good to bad, and her walls go flying back up. That is the last thing I want, but it is a conversation that needs to be had.I am on my way to her with dinner. I nipped out to get it. None of us could be assed cooking tonight. I also picked up a nice bottle of wine. I return to her place, letting myself in and find her on the sofa, reading. The same place she was before I left. I don’t think she has moved an inch. I chuckle, and it makes her look up.“That was quick.”“I left like forty-five minutes ago, not too quick.”“Really, it feels like ten minutes ago,” she snickers.“You must have been lost in your book.”I set everything down on the table and go to the kitchen to get plates, glasses and cutlery for us.“It smel

Conall Morgan has disappeared. I don’t know if she is somewhere in the building, or if Henry called to tell her the game is up and she needs to leave. I hope she is already gone, so that I don’t need to deal with her. I sit at my desk, tapping my fingers on the desk as I wait for Serena to arrive. My office door opens, and my head shoots up, expecting it to be Serena. I am soon disappointed when I realise it is Morgan. “Hey, handsome, did you miss me?” she snickers and strolls towards my desk. I guess Henry hasn’t called her then if she is still acting in such a way. “No, he didn’t miss you, and he won’t when you leave in two seconds.” The sound of Serena’s voice makes me smile, but Morgan freezes. After a second, Morgan turns to Serena. “Who are you?” Serena strolls confidently towards her. “I am Serena. Conall’s girlfriend.” “Good for you.” Serena laughs at the comeback. “It is time for you to leave, Morgan, if that is even your real name. We know what this is. You were sen

Serena I walk straight towards Henry’s office, ignoring the people who are calling after me to stop. I am on a mission, and none of them is going to get in my way. I pick up my speed and arrive at his office in no time, barging into his office. What I find is not what I expected, but it works perfectly for me. He is sitting at his desk, shirt open, and the same woman from the restaurant is straddling him in only her underwear. They jump apart when they hear someone come in.“You really should lock your door when you are about to scew some woman in your office. God, how I wish Felicity were here to see this.” I laugh and snap a couple of photos before they can make themselves presentable. “What the fuck are you doing here? You have no right to be here.” He snaps, the panic clear in his voice. The woman pulls her clothes on and rushes out without another word. Henry jumps to his feet, storming over to me, his eyes narrowed and his face red from anger. “I have every right to be here.

Conall I am trying to focus at work, but I can’t. I am on edge about Serena going to see Henry. I should never have agreed to it. I don’t even know when she is going to see him. Soon, hopefully. I should have been the one to go with the photos, but Serena insisted, and I learned quickly that there is no point in trying to change her mind once it is made up. She is very headstrong. I sigh and rest back against my chair. I check my cell to see if there is anything from Serena, but there is nothing. Then again, it is only nine-thirty. Henry probably won’t even be in yet. He doesn’t do early mornings in the office. I massage my temples and take a few deep breaths, trying to calm my anxiety and not let my anger towards Henry flow over, because if I go to see him, then I will end up punching him, and once I start, I won’t want to stop. As much fun as that would be for me, it wouldn’t end well. I would end up in jail when he pressed charges against me. He wouldn’t hesitate to do so. My o

Serena Conall arrives from work and collapses on the sofa next to me. Sighing loudly, he runs his fingers through his hair, clearly stressed. “Conall, what’s wrong?” He turns to me. “It has been a strange day. Well, maybe now, since Henry is involved.” I roll my eyes and tense at the sound of his name. “What the hell has he done now?” I snarl. Conall groans and explains everything that happened today. Why the hell would Henry take Conall’s assistant away? What does he gain from that? “So he sent some random woman to be my assistant that I don’t even know. One I don’t trust. There is something off about her, about the entire situation.” I soon realise exactly what he is up to. “Is she pretty?” I ask. Conall raises his brow at me. “Um, why would you ask me that?” he shifts nervously. I chuckle at his nervousness. “Is she pretty? It is okay to say yes. I won’t get mad. I am asking for a reason.” “Yes, she is pretty. Not my type, but pretty. What is the reasoning behind it?” “T

Conall I arrive at work later than planned. I planned on coming to the office straight after we had breakfast, but Serena had other ideas. Breakfast wasn’t enough. She wanted me to before I left, not like I mind. I will stay a little later tonight to make up my time. If anyone asks, I will say my “appointment” ran over. The hickey on my neck may tell a different story since it is noticeable. How professional of me, but Serena knew what she was doing. I smile politely as I make my way to my office and get straight to work. I don’t get much done before a knock comes at my office door. I sigh, hoping everyone will leave me alone to work in peace. “Come in,” I call out. The door opens, and in walks a woman I have never seen in my life. She doesn’t work here. She is a pretty redhead, tall and slim. A black dress covers her body, one pretty short and tight. Not what I am used to seeing at the office. “Um, hello, can I help you?” I ask, confused. She flashes her bright, white smile and

SerenaConall is sound asleep next to me. We had dinner, sex and now he has crashed out. I can't sleep, thought. My thoughts are in overdrive—thoughts I don't want to be thinking. Sighing, I rest my hand on my stomach and close my eyes, my mind drifting back to the horrible day.~~~~~~They rushed

SerenaI left Conall impatiently waiting in my bedroom for me while I am in the bathroom changing. It was never part of my plan for us to become fuck buddies while we are messing with Henry, but he is good! And why shouldn’t he get something out of it, too? It is beneficial for both of us. ConallI am eager to finish and go to Serena’s place to see what happened today. I did offer to go with her. It was probably a good thing she said no because I had meetings outside of the office.
