INICIAR SESIÓNLena's POV.
Life wasn't fair. After everything I did for him, after all the sacrifices I had made for everyone, I still ended up dying in the worst way possible.
'I couldn't accept this.' I thought as I tried to fight my soul leaving my body.
I didn't deserve this, I did nothing wrong. All I ever wanted was his love but sadly, that was my biggest mistake.
If I could ever have a second chance at life, I promise to make things right.
Just then;
"Lena, Lena." I felt a tap on my shoulders and gasped, flicking my eyelids open to find myself surrounded by a lot of people who were cheering as loud music blared in the background.
I glanced around, confused.
'Wait! How did I get here? Wasn't I dead? Didn't Dane push me?' I wondered as I stared at the people dancing in front of me, continuously chanting my name.
Somehow, all of these seemed familiar, bringing back memories.
"Ladies, please let's welcome the bride-to-be, Lena." I heard the soft voice and flinched, turning immediately to see her.
The betrayal, Tia.
Rage burned through my veins as I watched her walk up to me with a smile, I was so certain now, was fake.
"Babes." She screamed, wanting to touch me when I took a step backwards, throwing her a glare.
The smile was wiped off her face as her hand was left hanging.
"Lena, are you okay?" She asked and I was about to call her out for her two-faced behavior when I caught sight of what she was holding in her left hand.
It was a tiara with the design "bride-to-be" and not just any tiara but the one she had gifted me the night of my bridal shower, two years ago.
My lips parted in surprise as I immediately looked around, realizing that everything was the exact replica of that night.
From the dresses to the yells, to the music, and the conversations. Everything was the same.
My heart skipped a beat as the possibility of what could be happening sank into my head.
Just then, my phone vibrated in my purse, and I hurriedly brought it out to see a call from Dane, just like then.
My fingers shook as I picked it up.
"Where are you?" His deep, familiar voice resounded in my ears and I could feel my heart almost melting when I remembered the cold look in his eyes as he kicked me onto the glass table.
"Out," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.
"Fine. Are you accepting my terms or.....?" He asked, and I was confused at first, but then it hit me as I smiled bitterly.
How could I have forgotten?
It was also tonight that I gave him my answer, letting him know that I would take over the company's project, as he had assured me of his love.
How stupid could I have been?
This guy had despised my very existence since college, and even his parents, whom he respected so much, couldn't change his decision.
They just made him marry me. How could I have ever believed that getting him the project would make him fall for me?
He knew I was a fool for him and took advantage of it.
"Yes." My eyes twitched, especially when Tia kept leaning over, trying to eavesdrop on our conversation.
What a bitch!
"I accept," I told Dane.
"Very well, I will send you all the necessary details, then see you at the wedding tomorrow. Now please give the phone to Tia for me." He said, and I almost burst out laughing as I realized that I had truly been reborn.
Everything was going the same way, playing like a movie that I had once watched, except this was my life now.
I was now in the past and had truly been granted a second chance at life.
"No problem." I handed the phone over to Tia who snatched it from my hand and ran off to God knows where.
Then I never felt anything was suspicious about my husband always wanting to speak to Tia. I thought it was normal since Tia was also Nina's friend.
Nina is the one woman Dane loved, the woman he believed I killed. Well, it was my fault in a way but still, he had no right to torture my entire existence because of it.
He had no right to use and take my life when even Nina wouldn't have wished for that. I only did as she asked that night and I regret it with every fiber of my being.
Perhaps if I hadn't listened to her, she would still be alive and Dane wouldn't bear so much hatred towards me.
I walked out of the crowd, towards the bartender to order some shots to calm my nerves. We were all in a club Tia had forced me into, to celebrate the night before my wedding.
Then I was so grateful to her for such an event, but now, all I wanted to do was to smash her head against the wall for tricking me all this time.
How could I have fallen victim to her schemes? I understand that of Dane, because I was madly in love with him but Tia was different.
I was so gullible around her, allowing her to tell me how to dress and act so I could get Dane's love, but rather, I only seemed to fuel his irritation with me.
How she must have laughed behind my back then.
As I sat on the stool, I stared at the mirror on the wall opposite me. I didn't look haggard or pale anymore; rather, I was looking at the beautiful, fresh, and vibrant girl I had once been.
'How could I have slaved away all of these features for some monster?' I dug my nails into my palm.
They were so going to get it from me.
"Bestie." I heard an ugly tone behind me and cringed.
She tried touching me as usual but I jerked away from her.
"What?" She frowned.
"Not in the mood for touches," I told her bluntly, and could see her eyes swelling with rage, but I didn't care.
"No problem, but wait! You are drinking?" Her eyes widened slightly as she grabbed two shots from the bartender.
"Of course, why wouldn't I?"
Tia said nothing and handed a glass to me with a sly grin. I took it from her without any suspicion since she didn't do anything to harm me here in my previous life.
I was living it again, so I was safe, or so I thought.
I threw the shots down my throat, loving as the liquid burned through my body, and just then, I saw him, my eyes widening in disbelief.
What was he doing here?
Lena's POV.'This couldn't be happening.' I thought, almost panicking as I stared at my soiled wedding dress.I tried to bury the rage burning inside me as I realized that the accident I had tried avoiding eventually happened. But how come? What the hell was going on? Was the past so hell-bent on repeating itself?I wanted to cry out, but my parents were currently in the dressing room with me, trying to find another dress for me; unfortunately, all the stores were closed.I relaxed on the sofa, initially telling them not to waste their time because I knew they weren't going to get a dress, but they refused to listen. The wedding was put on hold with the guests probably confused."OMG! Lena, are you okay?" Tia dashed in, inquiring as if she cared.I caught the hidden smirk on her lips and felt the urge to slap her hard but I had to be rational now.She stood in the room, glowing in her white dress, reminding me once again that she was going to be mistaken for the bride in the next fe
Lena's POV.I stood in front of the mirror, staring at how beautiful I looked in my white, wedding dress, still unable to believe that I was repeating my life all over again. Then I was so excited that I screamed with joy, but now all I wanted to do was to get over this event quickly.I finally decided not to call off the wedding because not only do I need to save my parents from disgrace, but also because I needed to ruin Dane from within.I will crush him the same way he did to me, without him knowing. I will let him have his sense of victory and work on that project, but not for his gain, but for my fame.'Dane will regret ever trying to play with me and this marriage will be my first step.' I thought with a smirk. My phone on the table pinged, and I was about to grab it when the door burst open, revealing my mum and a maid behind her, holding a jug of tea and some cups.I was about to look away when I remembered that this maid had tripped and ended up spilling the tea all over me,
Lena's POV.He placed his hand on my shoulder, sending a jolt of electricity through me as I held back a moan, staring at him.We stood under the moonlight, and he looked so beautiful, or was the drug messing with my head?Mikahali has always been devilishly handsome, just like his brother, but I had always had my eyes on Dane, not giving a damn about Mikahali, even though he had proven time and time again how much he liked me."Let's get you home." He tried opening the car with my keys when I stopped him, tiptoed, and then sealed my lips with his.He froze, his eyes widening but I didn't care and continued to kiss him, even going as far as wrapping my hands around his waist."Stop." Mikahali pushed me away gently and for some unknown reason, that hurt. Was he rejecting me?"We shouldn't do this." He told me and I smiled, moving closer to him."But I want to and I know you do too.""Nope, you are getting married to my brother tomorrow and you are drunk." He opened the backseat and tri
Lena's POV.By the time I blinked, he was gone, nowhere to be found again as I checked around.'Did I imagine him or was I hallucinating?' I pondered as I drowned another shot down my throat."Excited about your wedding tomorrow?" Tia's annoying voice came up again and I groaned, fighting the anger burning through my veins.Could this bitch just shut her goddamn mouth?I was infuriated, but now wasn't the time for me to react or retaliate. No, I wanted them to all suffer to their deaths, slowly, just like I did. I would also have to play pretend and fool them successfully as they did to me in my past life."Yes, finally, Dane is mine," I replied, and Tia chuckled."You think so? Remember he still doesn't like you." She said the exact same words she told me previously, and then I thought she was concerned about me.But now, I just realized it was an indirect shade.I laughed within, satisfied I was no longer gullible or blind to her tricks."That's where you are wrong Tia. Dane actuall
