“Oh gods” I gaped as I pulled out of the kiss. Jaylen was staring at me with a look that said ‘I don't give a flying fuck’

Did he really have to kiss me in front of Nathan?

“And I'll kiss you again.” Jaylen said softly, all the emotions he'd been burying all these years started to surface and they were too much to take in.

The way he looked at me was everything that only existed in those sweet and short-lived dreams.

“I've spent too much time holding back, Diana. Not now, not now that you know I want you and I know that you feel the same way. I'm never pulling back again and it would take a million and one Nathans to give me a tiny bit of headache.”

I was pulled into a world where only the both of us belonged, a place I was just realising had existed since we were young. We'd created our own world a long time ago and it's taken us years to find our way back to it.

And if not for the groan, I would say that Nathan was simply just a bad dream that never happened.

CAMILLE “Who the hell is banging on my door at this hour?” I asked as I set the glass of water on the sink. I eyed the staircase as I heard footsteps descending. It was the nanny and she was holding Ashley in her hands. She jumped back as soon as she saw me. “What are you doing down here?” I asked her “I didn't know you were back ma'am, I heard someone knocking and I wanted to check who it was.” I eyed her suspiciously, it might be one of her lousy boyfriends and she didn't know I was home. The knocking continued and I cursed whoever it was. It's two AM for crying out loud.“Don't worry about the door, you can take Ashley back to her room.” “Okay ma'am.” she said and without wasting any time, she turned around. I watched her go back upstairs and I made my way to the door. I looked through the peephole but I could not see anyone through it. That was strange, wasn't it? I unlocked the door and I looked out to see a very tall man standing in the shadows. My brain paused and it

“Jaylen” I moaned as the pleasure wrapped around me like a slithering snake. It coiled and flared around my lower belly, pulling more sensations that I never knew existed before. “My Ana.” he whispered back, his voice soft and tender. “This is better than in my books. This is so much better.” He grinned hard and pressed our lips together again, in another heart warming kiss. But I was hungry for him and I could not hold back any longer.I grabbed the band of his pants and I pulled, he stopped kissing me and without asking any questions, he started to undressI watched him do it, it was like candy to my eyes. He tossed his shirt aside and kicked his pants off. My breath stopped in my throat when he took off his briefs.“Your turn,” he said, climbing the bed and with an urgency I didn't know I could muster, I pulled off my dress and everything else that could be in the way. We were naked, together and my skin burned wherever he touched me and he was touching me everywhere. His hands

His voice carried so much passion that it singed my skin and left a burning trail from my head down to my toes. When he took a step closer to me, I was instantly pulled to him, like a magnet finding its opposite side. Our mouths collapsed together in a kiss that was hot and hard, a kiss that was completely out of our control. The need to pull him closer to me was unexplainable, and he must have felt the same because he took my ass in his hands and hauled me against his hips, lifting me from the ground. His tongue moved across my lower lips and he made a low sound in his throat. It sent a spiral of emotions down my spine. I knew we were moving but I did not want to break the kiss, not even for a second. I heard the door and I finally broke the kiss to see us entering my bedroom. The door slammed shut and he pushed me against it. I wrapped my legs around his hips and used the door as leverage to push against him. Every sweet stroke of his tongue stole every logical thought and on

CAMILLE The doctor standing in front of me had kind eyes. He had treated me for my sprained ankle the last time I was here. He had also sewn the stitches. That was some weeks ago, the same day Neah died. A feeling, similar to guilt, tightened my chest but I shoved it away. Not now, not ever. “You were a bit concussed.” the man said as he approached my bed. “How do you feel now?” I felt lightheaded, all that tossing my head around and crying had cost me something at least. The doctors said that I wasn't pregnant and I had to pretend that I thought I was. And then I had to shed another set of tears trying to convince them that I thought I missed my period. It worked because they started comforting me and then they sent me to the VIP ward. “I would be better if someone called my boyfriend. Where is Nathan?”The man winced. “We've tried calling him but there's been no response. Have you tried calling him?” he shot the question right back at me and I had to pretend that it didn't st

NATHAN The door was hard and thick, probably bullet proof and yet it didn't look like it. It looked like any ordinary door but Nathan couldn't get inside. Such an old house, he had underestimated the stregtnh of the house. Maybe it was built to look old so that no one would notice it, maybe it was a hideout or maybe it had been reinforced and remodelled but the owner didn't want to change the original design. Why would this house matter to Jaylen at all? Why would he bother to bring Diana here? There was a lot of frustration gathering deep within Nathan's chest and no matter how hard he knocked, no one was answering. But he knew someone was in because the lights were on. He was getting mad by the second. He slammed the door with his shoulder, hot white pain exploded through his entire body and he almost fell to his knees. I sucked air through gritted teeth and he waited for the pain to pass. It took a very long time before he was even able to breathe properly, let alone move his
