Chapter 4: His Lover Have Returned

Emily’s eyes widened as she saw Megan. She looked at Joshua and he stared back at her. “So, this is why,” she thought. “You’re divorcing me because she’s back. Your lover have returned.”

Megan stepped next to Joshua and grabbed his arm.

Joshua smiled at her.  

Emily chuckled and asked, “So you been gathering all these evidence for these past few years for this day, haven’t you?”

“What?” asked Joshua, flipping his head back to her.

“You knew she was coming back, so you prepare all of this as a parting gift for me.”

“Don’t think too highly of yourself.”

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

“You knew that he always loved me and that I loved him,” said Megan.

“Right, that’s why you slept with his nemesis,” said Emily.

“I did that because you kept standing in our way. So out of anger I took it out on him. So, I made a mistake. So what? Everyone makes a mistake.”

“Ha-Ha. But your mistakes is far deeper than mine.”

“You-” Megan frowned deeply at her.

“You took aways Joshua’s planned and project with you to that man.”

“So, I guess drugging and sleeping with him is any better?” smirked Megan.

Emily frowned. “How did you know?”

“Because I told her,” said Vicky. “She has the right to know why he married you.”

“What?”

“Mother’s right. Megan have every right to know. Even if grandfather objected to it, I don’t think so. It’s because of you that me and Megan went our separate ways in the first place. You caused us to drift from each other.”

“Joshua, can’t you see that she’s not the right one for you.”

“Oh, and you are?” asked Megan.

Joshua smiled at Megan and said, “Only you are the one for me.”

“I know Joshua. It’s always me that you think of. That’s why for the past three years you haven’t touched her. For that I forgive you.” Megan was rubbing her belly.

Emily gasped as she saw her baby bump. Emily’s face paled.

Joshua kissed Megan on the cheek.

“Joshua, can’t you wait until we get into the room,” chuckled Megan.

“Oh, you don’t want to do it in front of her?” asked Joshua, smiling at Megan.

“Joshua!” exclaimed Emily.

“Looks like she’s eager to see us make love,” said Joshua, tilting Megan’s chin to him.

“Joshua, you…” said Emily. She couldn’t finish her words. The words were stuck in her throat. Pain was strucking her hard in the chest. She couldn’t breathe.

Joshua turned to look at Emily and just smiled wickedly at her.

“You-You cheated on me.”

Megan leaned into Joshua’s arm. Joshua wrapped his arm around her waist.

“After all that you have done to wrong him, why wouldn’t he take in another woman,” said Vicky, proudly standing next to Joshua and Megan.

“You dare call me to cheat on you when you been cheating on me with that wh*ore!” shouted Emily.

“Emily!” exclaimed Joshua.

“How dare you!” shouted Vicky.

Megan wept into Joshua’s arm. “Joshua how dare she calls me a wh*re when she slept her ways into your arms. Stole you from me. Steal my place as your wife. Now she is even stealing money from you. She’s trying to break your family’s fortune.” Megan faked more tears out of her eyes.

“That’s right! You are a cheater. We caught you red handed.”

Emily looked at Vicky with hatred in her eyes.

Vicky felt a chill down her spine as she saw Emily’s terrifying look. She then pointed at Emily and said, “Don’t you dare look at me like that.”

 “You! You dare you look at your mother-in-law like that,” said Megan. She then leaned back into Joshua’s arm. “Even I the daughter-in-law of my ex-husband never dared look at my mother-in-law with disrespect like you do.”

Joshua stared at Emily with hatred.

“Nor-Nor, do I even talk back like you do,” said Megan, looking innocently.

“She’s only acting like this because we caught her with other men,” said Vicky.

“What?” asked Megan, pretending to look shocked.

“Yes. Not just one, but five different men.”

“How disgusting,” said Megan.

“Yes, how filthy she is, isn’t she?” said Joshua. He let go of Megan’s hand and walked over to Emily.

Emily didn’t budge at their accusations. She had no excuses as she was indeed with the five different men.

“Humph even after being caught you still aren’t going to say anything?”

Emily didn’t say anything as she stared into his light brown eyes.

Joshua nearly let out a gasped as he stared into her beautiful blue eyes.

“No. I got nothing to say. For I was with them,” she said to him.

Joshua was puffing angrily at her. “So, you admit it.”

Emily nodded her head. “I was indeed with them. I was with the five of them. Not at the same time, but different times throughout the three years you and I were married.”

Joshua grabbed her by the arms and said, “You are an unfaithful woman!”

Emily had tears in her eyes. She then said, “I’m unfaithful. What about you? You went and bed with another men’s wife. You even got her pregnant.”

Joshua frowned at her words. He pinched her face and said, “At least if I was to cheat, I would make sure I wouldn’t be caught. Unlike you, you went around publicly meeting with them. How is it with them? Huh? What was it like to have them one by one?” His grip tightened. “Or maybe two, three, maybe all five of them at the same time.”

Emily became angry at his words. She shook her head free and said, “Don’t you dare talk bad about them!” she shouted.

Joshua was shocked by her dispute. He pushed her away from him.

Emily landed on the ground with a loud thump. Her head smashing the hard wooden floor. She felt her head swollen beneath her palm. Then she felt something wet. It smelt like blood. She looked at it as it was indeed blood. She gasped as he hurt her. This was the last straw for her. She couldn’t go on living like this with him anymore. If she continued to stay it wouldn’t be blood that he spills next time, but her life. He would take her life as easily as he is abusing her right now.  

Joshua didn’t even flinch from her blood. He angrily said, “Just signed the goddamn paperwork and get out of here.”

Emily was clenching her fist tightly.

“Do it, or I will make you,” said Joshua.

“Humph, of course this time with my return,  I will rightfully stand by his side. I will be the next Mrs. MacClare of this household,” grinned Megan. She grabbed hold of Joshua’s arm.

“Yes, that’s right,” said Joshua.

Megan rubbed her belly, proudly exposing her baby bump saying, “I’m back to where I belong. So, get out of here quickly. Unless you want to be beaten to death.”

Emily gasped at her words.

“If you’re afraid than hurry your ass up!” shouted Vicky.

“Ha. I was supposed to be rightful wife in the first place," said Megan. 

“She’s right. She was the woman whom I love and still love,” said Joshua.

“Oh, Joshua,” said Megan. She kissed him on his right cheek.

“Oh,” gasped Joshua. He wrapped his arms around Megan’s waist and pulled her closer. “You like it in front of the crowd, don’t you?”

Megan chuckled and said in a seductive voice, “If that’s what get you turned on. We can do it right now.” Her hand was moving to his belt.

“You naughty woman,” said Joshua, edging closely to her.
