Half-term passed by in a blur. Before Alice knew it, she was due to go back to West Bridge to complete the term.On Monday morning, her body didn't seem to want to wake up at all. She nearly missed the bus by an inch. When she saw Lauren, they embraced like long-lost friends and pulled each other straight into a hug. As Alice rested her chin on Lauren's shoulder, she r
In the morning, Alice woke up, still feeling tired and grumpy. She knew that she would need to train her body into becoming more responsive in the morning. That was at the very bottom of her list of priorities.Libby was definitely at the top. Alice had never felt more worried about her friend. It was normal for Libby to get emotional over little things as she was quite sensitive. But Alice had never seen her as distraught as yesterday.

A/N: Happy New Year!---In the morning, Alice pulled herself out of bed feeling low and melancholy. She couldn't get the previous day's events out of her head. With Courtney, Ray, The money-
After school, Alice slumped back home, feeling worn out and exhausted. Her jaw had been bothering her all afternoon. When she tried paying attention in classes, she was distracted by the constant throbbing pains in her jaw. It felt as if somebody was constantly smacking her mouth with a rock every few seconds. Emilia kept shooting her smug looks and smirks. It infuriated her and drove her up the wall.
"Come on!" Emilia's voice called out to the rest of the group, "Work faster! You're all being too slow!"Alice let out a short sign before jabbing her gardening fork into the soil. She could feel sweat forming on her brow. The rest of the group were stood beside Alice. They all were trying to dig up weeds as fast as they could to avoid Emilia's cut remarks.
