~strange how time flies~

"Let's go check out the house and find some food," Miguel stated happily and pulled me down the long deck towards Kalani's huge house. I felt an odd sensation brush across my skin, like passing through spider webs as I climbed up the steps. I gritted my teeth as Miguel continued to pull me up each step.

"Do you feel anything odd," I asked him and he glanced back and said he felt hungry.

"I'm starving and hope your father has something good to eat," he said with a grin. We opened the patio door and were completely enthralled with the interior design, it was stunning. An older polynesian woman was directing several others to place food dishes on the large dining room table.
