Lord Adonis arrived at the palace of ice and stone. He walked into the main hall, just as he expected, the palace was as silent as a grave. The girls have all retired to their hall.

The same hall used to be filled with his arch agents and numerous other agents. It was never quiet. It was always bubbling with one activity or the other.

It occured to him that he haven't set his eyes on Azrail since he punished him for his defiance.

"He must be sulking like hell." He decided to go to Azrail's chambers to check on him.

He walked to Azrail's door and turned the knob of the door to his chamber.

Azrail was sitting on his chair with his direction facing the window. He was completely lost in thoughts he didn't hear anyone come in. His punishment was harsher than he thought, he molded his hands into a fist.
