Chapter – 39

Reyna closed the door behind her. Their bedroom chamber was still the same, minus Freya’s scent. Initially, she wanted to tear the lycan limb to limb just for being inside the room.

A deep breath relieved the tension in her lungs. But that didn’t lift the weight from her heart. It had been a while since she spoke to her mother. The last time she said her father went berserk. Aluxious’ word replayed in her mind.

If the vampire and elven kingdoms waged war at once, the lycans stood no chance of victory. She headed to the open balcony. In the distance, she saw the lycans running here and there. The sounds from the village echoed in the air. Growls reverberated in the air.

The ripe scent of the females teased her nostrils. She could only imagine the state of the unmated males. On her way, she heard someone mentioning that this was the first time so many females going into heat.

Her fingers tapped at the railing. The restlessness inside her heart kept grow
