I sat next to Eros at our dinner table, I placed my hand in his before I rested my head against his arm. We haven't fought in two days, well ever since our last fight we've been getting along incredibly well. He's been treating me more like a friend lately so, I have decided to forgive him for his past mistakes.The royal family entered the dining hall so we all got up from where we were seated. They gracefully took their seats and the other houses followed their league by sitting back down once they were done. "Do you remember that book you gave me when I first came to House Valaires?" I might never get to publish it but perhaps you could read it someday." I told him and he smiled at me."Marvellous, I would be honored to, my lady." I stepped out onto the balcony of my chambers and the night's cold air enveloped my body. I pulled the shawl around my shoulders tighter around my body. I heard a clashing sound coming from Mrs. Cordelia’s chambers and a deep frown settled on my forehead because Mrs. Cordelia left two months ago to help Father on a mission. Leaving only me and Mother behind. And my brother is only to return home tomorrow evening. I stood on my balcony and the wind gently blew through my long blonde hair. The silk shawl that was covering my arms didn’t really warm me up but it’s better than wearing only my night dress outside. I wonder what it is like to be in love, lady Iris always brags about the way my brother makes her feel, but I think that the description differs from the feeling. Emotions are difficult to define and the emotions that I have experienced were extremely powerful. So, I suppose a mate’s love must be the most powerful of them all. I looked out of the carriage that Zion and I have been traveling in for the past four days. It was snowing outside, and snow is a common thing here in the North. Sunlight however is a true rarity in these parts of the world. I have yet to decide what I am going to tell the prince at the alpha conference. And that is the difference between Alcander and me, He has already made his choice, I have not.
