Chapter 21
Weird. It was freaking weird. The way he looked at me and said those words were super weird. I know it wasn’t for him, but for me, damn it. I hate this! I don’t know if this was because I have feelings for him, that’s why I’m putting meaning in everything that he does or there was really a meaning to it.
I bit my lip hard as I buried my face on my pillow. I glanced at the digital clock on my bedside table. Damn it, it’s already past eleven and I badly need to sleep. For god’s sake I still have an exam tomorrow! This is so freaking frustrating!

I couldn’t feel my hands. They were so cold, and I don’t even know why it's so hot in here! I bit the inside of my cheeks as I tried hard not to trip on while we were walking. I heaved a deep sigh. Our midterm week was hell, but it passed like a blur. All the distractions that I felt that night when Sir Greg visited the house were just washed aways when the week entered. The whole exam week was really exhausting. What’s worse was that there was a celebration after that. That’s the unified acquaintance that the student council was preparing for how many months already. And as the head of the council, all preparations were monitored by me and our adviser, who was unfortunately Sir Greg. I didn’t know how I was able to survive that dinner with Sir Greg just an inch away from me. The next thing I knew, I already survived the dinner and we were back to the auditorium to resume the rehearsal and the decoration. Thank God, I was able to survive that, too.
