“I do remember you. We played together, but you suddenly didn’t show back up. I grew up, and I’m afraid my mind is not what it used to be, reliving childhood memories. As Sylvia said, you must have been through a terrible shock. I know you dwell by yourself, and tonight is not a night to be alone. Stay with Sylvia, and tomorrow I’ll treat you to breakfast; how does that sound?” Blake said with a smile.

Both women nodded in agreement, and Blake turned his attention to Betty, who had not said a word throughout this process due to her involvement with the previous manager.

“Betty, will you please see that these ladies have that room with the two queen beds and have someone arrange new sheets for my room?” Blake asked with a warm smile.

Betty rushed over to the terminal and started typing the information. To her surprise, the previous room was booked online while everything was going on, and there were no other rooms available. Blake saw her surprised expression and came over to her.
