Glimpses Of the Surface
As I waited for another hour, I decided that now would be a good time to investigate the human camp. The moment I encounter any human being, I will decide my next step.
My movements are confined to shadows around the camp's edges, avoiding the more visible areas and weaving between the masses of land that surround it.
In the darkness, I can see tunnels that branch out from the entrance, some of which are large and some small. When I approach one of them, I notice strange air wafting through.
I wonder what lies at the bottom of these tunnels?
Randomly, I chose a tunnel and moved forward in a slow but steady manner.
With each step deeper, I can see that the tunnel is growing wider.
To check for traps, I have already sent Ghost ahead of me, and he proved to be exactly the right choice.
