His face twisted with rage, but before he could react, he barked out a single, desperate call, “Jeniece!” a hint for her to act.

I barely had time to react. Jeniece’s lips moved in a silent incantation, and in the blink of an eye, all three of them vanished, leaving nothing but the echo of their presence and the lingering darkness in their wake.

I rushed to Victoria’s side, my heart pounding as I reached out to help her to her feet. “Are you alright?” I asked, my voice tinged with concern.

Victoria nodded, though her smile was faint. “I’m fine… I guess,” she mumbled, trying to shake off the lingering pain and shock.

My gaze drifted from her to the terrifying figure of the Sheriff, still in his Lycanthrope form. His hulking frame cast a shadow over us, the remnants of his torn shirt barely holding together over his powerful muscles.

He stared down at his own hand, his claws still extended, the reality of his condition sinking in. “I’m the only Lycanthrope alive now, aside from Luna!” h

The anger inside me ignited like wildfire, uncontrollable and all-consuming. "You were the one who made those guys do that to her!" I roared, my voice trembling with rage. In an instant, I lunged forward, grabbing her by the collar, and slammed her against the wall with all the force I could muster. "You vile, heartless bitch! How could you inflict the same horror that you once endured on someone as innocent as her?"My hands, driven by blind fury, found their way to her throat. I began to squeeze, blocking out the world around me. The sounds of Dominic and Victoria calling out to me faded into a distant, muffled hum, overtaken by the furious whistling in my ears. I could barely feel their hands pulling at my shoulders, desperate to snap me out of my rage. But as her face flushed crimson, and her struggling grew weaker, a cold realization struck me. My grip loosened, and I staggered back, horrified at what I had almost done. My hands shook uncontrollably, and my legs felt like they m

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   Confronting The Bitch

Without wasting any time, we plunged deeper into the woods, retracing our steps back to the cabin where Evan had been brutally murdered. It was a place I had hoped never to visit again, the memory of Evan’s death still fresh and raw in my mind. But there we were, drawn by the grim necessity of our mission. As we approached, the cabin appeared abandoned, the silence thick and suffocating. But something felt off. A dim light flickered inside, casting dark shadows. We exchanged a cautious glance, the unspoken understanding that danger lurked within. Hunter, ever prepared, volunteered to go in first, and we remained outside, using him as bait. With the stealth of a seasoned predator, Hunter crept inside, his eyes scanning the room. It seemed desolate, as if Jeniece had never come back since that day.A rusted rack caught his attention, and upon it lay a pile of books, their covers worn and edges worn. He reached for one, its brittle pages crumbling in his hands, each page stained with the

I shrugged, playing along with his uncertainty. "That depends on you. Maybe it was a mistake, and I mistook an old man for something else. Or maybe," I leaned in, my voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "you don’t want to defeat the Darklord and his minions after all?" I folded my arms, raising an eyebrow, daring him to make a choice.Hunter unlocked the cuffs on Dominic's hands, his gaze burning into me with a death glare. "Don’t waste my time like this again!" he bellowed, his voice echoing through the still air as if he needed to remind everyone of his authority. Dominic wasted no time, sprinting toward the barrier, his feet barely touching the ground."Let the poor guy go! He’s no threat!" Hunter barked, his voice dripping with false reassurance. The guards hesitated for only a moment before obeying, parting to let Dominic escape into the night. As I watched Dominic disappear, the reality of my situation sank in. I was now alone, standing in the lion's den, completely defen

According to our plan, Victoria cast a spell that transformed Dominic into the perfect disguise—a beggar. His once-neat appearance was now hidden beneath a layer of dust, his hair tousled and untidy. The addition of a French beard, streaked with black and white, gave him the look of a man far beyond his years.Deep-set eye bags, wrinkled cheeks, and a mouth full of yellowing teeth completed the illusion, making him almost unrecognizable. The sight of his teeth alone was enough to make us gag.Dominic was clearly enjoying himself, taking full advantage of the appearance. He adopted a crunchy, heavy voice, teasing us with exaggerated compliments and flirty remarks that had both me and Victoria cringing and laughing at the same time. His foolish, though absurd, brought a brief moment of fun to the dire situation we found ourselves in, even releasing a rare chuckle from the Sheriff."We don't have much time for this!" Victoria laughed, playfully shoving Dominic away as he leaned in for an

Guilt chewed at me, but there was no time to dwell on it. The others were already stirring, gathering together in the cool morning light. We huddled in a tight circle, the gravity of our situation pressing down on us as we prepared to plan our next move.“We need to find Viviana first,” I began, my voice steady but laced with urgency. “And then, we have to free Luna. And… Scott, I’m sorry, but we may need Hunter’s help for this.” The words tasted bitter in my mouth, and I forced a grin, hoping it would mask the unease gnawing at my insides. I clasped my hands behind my back, trying to keep my composure.Scott’s eyes darkened at the mention of his son. He stood abruptly, his body tense, the pain of what Hunter had become clearly visible in the lines of his face. “I understand,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “But Hunter will become an even bigger threat once we deal with the Darklord!” His protest was sharp, cutting through the morning air.I crossed my arms, trying to present

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   Cautious Steps

The mention of Evan's name felt like a dagger twisting in my chest. Though the wound was fresh, it bled no more tears. I was beyond grief, beyond sorrow—what remained was a void filled with a cold, unrelenting determination. The pain of his loss was a fire that fueled the madness brewing within me, a madness that demanded retribution, justice, and blood. The Sheriff looked into my eyes, but he found no trace of the person I once was. Instead, he saw only the raw, untamed resolve of someone who had nothing left to lose. "I’m sorry for your loss," I muttered, the words hollow and devoid of the warmth they once carried. He nodded in response, his head bobbing with a strange weariness, a burden that went far beyond the physical toll of his age or the monstrous transformation he had undergone. It was the weight of guilt, regret, and unspoken fears that haunted him."Let’s get some rest," he suggested, throwing another plank onto the fire, the flames leaping higher into the night. "We don’t

  • Demon's Obsession - I'm Bound to Him   Third Face

I couldn’t remember the journey back, couldn’t recall how I had returned to my house, covered in blood yet leaving no trace behind. If I had somehow made my own way back, why wasn’t there any blood on the floor, on the door, or on anything I might have touched with my blood-soaked hands? The puzzle was maddening, a riddle that refused to let me rest.Desperate for answers, I forced myself to think wisely, despite the chaos swirling in my mind. I remembered that I had surveillance cameras outside my house.Clinging to that shred of logic, I raced to review the footage, praying that it might offer some clarity. As I scrolled through the recordings, something caught my attention. There, on the screen, was a woman—a woman with long, curly, purplish hair. She was carrying me over her shoulder like I weighed nothing, like I was a rag doll. I couldn’t see her face clearly, but the sight of her, the ease with which she handled me, sent a shiver down my spine. Who was she? And why had she brou

And there, in the center of it all, stood my son. He was covered in blood, his clothes soaked through, his hands gripping a surgical scalpel. How could anyone cause so much slaughter with just a scalpel? It seemed impossible, yet there he was, the evidence of his madness all around him.Our eyes met, and in that moment, everything else faded away. He looked at me, his eyes wide and pleading, tears cascading down his cheeks, along with the blood on his face. His breath hitched as he spoke, his voice barely more than a whisper. “I told you something was happening to me… but you didn’t listen.” His words cut through me like a knife, a stab of guilt and regret. I saw the pain in his eyes, the betrayal, and the overwhelming sorrow. That was the last time I saw my son—the last time before he was lost to the darkness that had consumed him. And I was left with the weight of what I had failed to do.I reached out to hold him, desperate to bridge the gap that had grown between us. I wanted to t
