chapter fifty three

(KYLE POV):

Melanie kicked me on the chest and sent me flying to the other end of the wall and my grip on Denver got loosened. In the next second I saw Denver lying on the ground right next to me and I knew same thing was just done to him.

Was Melanie playing both of us all this while.

"So it turns out your girlfriend is a player Denver." I said to Denver.

"Even after all those days you spent trying to get her all for yourself, you still know nothing about her." Denver replied.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Look around you idiot." Denver said and i did.

Every demon was disappearing from around us. I didn't have that planned. I thought the actual demons came.

"As far as I know, that girl we are both seeing can never be Melanie." Denver added.

He was right. I didn't even notice anything. I didn't feel it that it wasn't Melanie the whole time. Maybe I didn't love her as much as i thought.
