I felt my eyes watering as I ran past the trees, the wind blowing in my face. I couldn't remember the last time I was so angry, Jovita seemed to bring out the worst version of me.

How could she say it so casually? Did she think so little me?

I thought we were going somewhere with our relationship but I guess I was wrong. Relationship? Did I just say relationship? What the heck was wrong with me? She was my mate did not mean I must love her, I always had the option of rejecting her if I wanted to.
