Chapter 19

Morgan realized that their little exchange had completely stolen the people’s attention and now, all eyes were on them. The singers had stopped singing, the graceful dancers had stopped moving and even the elders and children that were preoccupied earlier were now watching their little scene.

Condemn.

Morgan felt everyone staring at him with condemnation. He was standing in the middle of the crowd that once loved and adored him. But now, all of their eyes were filled with fear, condemn and disappointment.

"He actually met the moon goddess. He's done for." He heard someone say.

He closed his eyes tightly as he tried to tune out all the words of condemnation around him.

It was at that moment that he heard that familiar soft voice.
