CHAPTER TWENTY ONE - A Night to Remember

Lila was already on her way to see her parents, spend time with them. Her dad was late, and her mom had already remarried to Fred while she was away with her brother in the city.

She had decided to go by road with the thought that the long trip could calm her down after the recent events. Everything had happened so quickly.

As the driver made his way back to New York, her mom wasn't aware she was coming home. She gently placed her head on the window of the passenger's seat and slowly drifted into a calm sleep. Without any harmful thought, she slept off as they drove through various cities.

Unknown to her, Doyle had planned something else, and this time it wasn't even known to her assistant Gabriel. It was already past 09:00 when tragedy struck.
