In a large spacious meeting room, all were seated with an anxious expression on their faces, excluding tanya, who had a calm look on her face.
Her slender fair hand tapped on the glass table rhythmically as she waited for the so-called devil. She was running out of patience as she wondered what was keeping him late.
"When did the idiot devil say he's going to be here?" As soon as tanya asked, the door opened, and a man dressed in a black tailored suit entered the room with his assistant following behind him, keeping at least five steps away from him.
Alexander entered the room nonchalantly and sat at the head table. As soon as he sat, his eyes glanced at every single person who sat in the room. Soon, his deep voice sounded. "Who said the word devil?" He asked.
Lydia and moses both felt their heart skip countless beats as they glanced at tanya. The other share holders also glanced at tanya pitifully as they all said the word 'RIP' in their hearts.
"You all know I don't like repeating myself." Alexander said once again, which made everyone break out in cold sweat.
"Master, please don't be annoyed. We were just talking about how big of an idiot I am." Moses said and chuckled nervously, trying to suppress the suffocating atmosphere, but instead, it seemed as if the oxygen had seized more, making it harc for everyone to breathe.
Seeing this, lydia quickly interjected. "Master, I was actually the one who said the word. I was calling myself an idiot for not coming earlier as it is a pleasure to wait for you."
Alexander chuckled darkly as his gaze landed on Lydia's face. "Do you think I'm a fool? I can clearly remember the voice I heard sounds nothing like yours. But, since you dared to lie to me with that fifty mouth of yours, I'll just silence you here, then I'll proceed to finding the one who called me an idiot.
Then, Alexander stretched his hand out a little, and josh placed a little pocket knife on his palm.
Alexander then stood up, walked over to where Lydia was sitting, standing tall over her. He then placed the knife right on the artery in her neck.
Everyone in the room held their breaths as they imagined what would happen next.
Soon, a voice sounded right beside Alexander. "I dare you to kill her right here and see if you won't regret it."
Hearing that familiar voice, Alexander turned around, only to see a girl dressed in a big black hoodie that covered her entire face.
He never noticed someone sitting there until she spook up.
His lips curled into a small smirk as he turned to look at her directly, but the hoodie was still covering her face. "And what if I kill her? What will you do? After all, you are just a blind and helpless girl who can only vent out her anger by crying." Alexander said as he crouched down to her level.
Tanya also smirked as the word 'blind' re-echoed in her head. "Hmm, what will I do? I'll do this."
With that, a loud and crisp sound of a slap resounded in the already silent room.
Everything then stilled in the room. No one moved an inch, and no one dared to breathe too loud. Everyone gaze just fell on tanya, who just dared to slap the devil right across the face.
Alexander, whose face was still facing sideways due to the force tanya hit him with, suddenly chuckled.
"You dared to hit me?" He said in a bone- chillingly voice as he turned to look at tanya.
"Yes, I did. And that's what you got for calling me blind." Tanya said and again raised her hand and slapped him hard again right in the place she slapped him before.
Everyone all had their hearts in their mouth, including josh. 'Wow, this girl is tired of life that she is personally seeking death.' Josh thought in his mind.
Alexander, whose lips were already bleeding, turned to look at tanya again, his eyes staring down at her as if he wanted to burn her alive. If the gaze could kill, tanya would have died countless times already.
"Do you have a death wish?" Alexander asked in an extremely low voice, which only tanya heard.
"No, I don't. The other slap was what you get for placing the knife on her neck." Tanya said.
Just as she said that, Alexander grabbed her by the neck, and his hold was firm as he almost choked her. His sudden hold caused Tanya's hoodie to fall off her face, revealing her extraordinary fair skin.
The moment their eyes met, it felt as if the world frozen.
It suddenly felt as if she was blind all over again. The familiar feeling of being blind again made her feel a pang of pain in her heart.
Soon again, those eyes, those eyes stared down at her asif wanting to swallow her whole.
"You really have a death wish." Hearing that deep voice of his, tanya came back to her senses.
But before she could say a word, Alexander suddenly leaned in closer to her and kissed or on the lips, maybe not really a kiss, more like biting her hard on the lip.
That question, will everything be fine? Nothing was fine. A few weeks after Tanya was discharged from the hospital, Mrs Sharon had great news for her. She had been chosen to act as a lead role in a famous movie producer movie. It was going to be a great opportunity for her to step into the industry fully. She accepted the role and soon started going for the shooting. Luna had been sentenced to life imprisonment, but she was having a hard time in jail due to her mental condition. She was no less than a mad woman now. Evelyn Clara had been set free long ago, but both were completely destroyed. Evelyn's face had now aged a lot. Her skin had been destroyed, and her body looked frail. And for Clara, her face was ruined to no redemption. She has to live with her dully scared face all her life. But still, life wasn't going too well for Tanya and Alexander. A calamity keeps on befalling on them one after the other. Not long after Tanya was discharged, Alex
Back to the present, Tanya's eyes locked onto Alexander's, her heart racing with a mix of emotions. They both played on the bed together , hands clasped, they had finally remembered their past lives and the curse that bound them. “It all feels strange, right?” Tanya asked."Yes it does. I don't know what will happen in the future and I also don't know what faith has in store for us, but I promise, I won't," Alexander vowed. "We'll break this curse together." Tanya said.Alexander's eyes shone with determination. "I promise too, Tanya. We'll face whatever comes next, side by side." They both got up from the bed and went to freshen up together, feeling different than usual. After bathing, they headed downstairs to get their breakfast, where Josh was already seated. Seeing Josh, Tanya had a big smile on her face. she turned to Alexander, “Do you think he remembers that I am his sister in his past life?” She asked in a hush tone.” “I don't think so. If he did, h
At first, it wasn't really a big deal till it became worse. The king was forced to consult the gods. It was later revealed Elianor's restored vision was the cause of all the bad things happening. The prophecy revealed "When sight is gained, destruction is bound to happen. Only through sacrifice shall peace be reborn." The prophecy declared that either Elianor or Arin must surrender their life to restore harmony. People of the kingdom Wondered why Eleanor regaining her sight was such a bad thing, but only the queen and a few other people knew why it was bad. Long ago, when king Thorne's ancestors had forcefully taken over the throne from Taurus ancestors, the curse had been there. There would be no peace unless a sacrifice was made. No one knew what the gods wanted and the kingdom suffered for a few years till Princess Eleanor's birth. When her disability was discovered, the king tried various ways to help his daughter with her disability but soon gave up when he fo

Tanya spent the entire day laying around, eating and taking a nap to recover from her hangover. She also spent a bit of time trying to remember what she had done exactly last night and she was able to remember it all late in the evening. Thinking about all she had done, she felt guilty for Chris and josh. She made up her mind to visit Chris in the hospital the next day while she waited for Alexander to be back, then she would apologise for the inappropriate behaviour she had done to him last night. After waiting for hours and seeing no signs of him returning soon, she went to the room to take her bath. After taking her bath, she came out of the bathroom, with only a towel wrapped around her chest. The moment she stepped out, her eyes met with his cold ones.Tanya's heart skipped a beat as Alexander's eyes locked onto hers. “You are back. I was waiting for you for a while.” Tanya said after a while. The tension between them was palpable. “Why were you waiting? You
Tanya's eyes cracked open, greeted by harsh sunlight. Her head pounded like a hammer was hit on it.. She winced, sitting up slowly. The bed beside her was empty."Where did he go?" she asked, her voice hoarse.Tanya swung her legs over the side of the bed, planting her feet firmly on the ground. Her mouth felt dry, her stomach churned. She managed to drag herself to the bathroom, splashing water on her face. The mirror reflected a dishevelled version of herself. After doing that, she headed downstairs Downstairs, she met him in the living room, reading a document as usual with a cup of coffee in this hand. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air. Although she doesn't like coffee, her stomach growled in hunger.Alexander sat on the couch, engrossed in a document.Tanya approached, her footsteps quiet. "Hey."Alexander didn't look up.Tanya cleared her throat. "Good morning."Still, no response.Tanya's eyes narrowed. "Are you ignoring me?"Alexander's gaze remained f
