"Well that's good" Daniel said seeing that she had signed the contract

"I'll get someone to send the money to you right now" he said as he left the office

Well that was fast Lola thought.

She sat in the office going through her i*******m account. She was just laughing at a meme when two notifications came in simultaneously. The first one was a bank alert. She opened it and saw that the loan of 155,000 had just entered. She was so happy and forgot to open the second notification. Just as she was confirming the balance the door to the office opened and Daniel walked in.

"They said the money has been transferred"

"Yes thank you I just received the alert" Lola said

"Would you like to go back to the villa now" Daniel asked

"Yeah . . . Sure I'll be on my way now thanks once more" Lola said while turning around to leave

"Hey wait!" Daniel said causing Lola to turn around

"Do you want to put me into trouble the young master clearly told me to send you back to the villa what will I say if something happens to you" Daniel asked

"I'm not a child to get lost" Lola said secretly wondering why the young master cared about how she reached the villa. He probably didn't want her having the chance to go anywhere.

"That does not matter let's go I'll take you to the villa" Daniel said

They both left the office when they reached the front desk Lola said goodbye to Lily. They had already started following each other on i*******m and exchanged numbers. They both went to the parking lot and got into Daniel's car.

As they drove through the streets an advert caught Lola's eye

Letting out a dry cough Lola said

"I'd like to go to Andrey's house he is leaving tomorrow so will you drive me there or should I stop here"

"I'll drive you" Daniel said letting out a tired sigh.

"Hey you can't blame me you are the one who said you didn't want to stay in that office any ways"

"The address" he asked

"The blue crown apartment" Lola said

When they reached their destination Daniel parked the car in the parking lot. Lola got down and Daniel attempted to follow her but she said

"Don't bother no need for you to follow me around you are not my bodyguard. And besides it's not like I'm going to run away. I'm not going to be as unreasonable as to put you in trouble. Besides the young master won't know."

"Fine I'll wait for you here in the car" Daniel said

Lola took the lift to the 10th floor where Audrey lived. She had just cornered and was two doors away from his door when it was opened and a woman was pushed out she lost her balance and fell on the floor. Audrey came out and scowled Before saying

"Stay away from me from now on"

Lola who saw the scene frowned. Why would he do that. Audrey was not the kind of person to act so rashly though so what happened she thought.

"Audrey "she called out her look questioning his actions

Audrey abruptly turned his head to see Lola standing some few metres away from his door.

"Lola" he mumbled with his face filled with shock.

The woman who was sprawled on the floor saw her and thought she was a love rival.She could see the look in Audrey's eyes. She immediately stood up and rushed towards Lola intended to slap her face. She hadn't even lowered her hand half way when it was caught mid air

She stared at Lola her eyes wide open in shock. She tried moving a hand but lola's grip was too tight even Audrey was shocked he had only thought her some defence moves how could she be this strong and Carla the woman she was holding wasn't a pushover either.

"B**** how dare you hold my hand do you want to die" Carla lashed out

"I should be asking you that and besides only a fool will stand and watch you attack without giving any reaction. By the way watch who you call a B**** old lady"

"You dare to call me old" She said. Pointing her finger at Lola's nose.

"That's not the point. The point is i have dared to do it. What do you plan to do to me?" Lola said. With her arms crossed on her chest.

"You.... you" She kept on stammering.

Lola snarled and said. " I would have broken this ugly crooked finger of yours. That you're using to point at me, but I'm afraid of being contaminated."

The woman became quiet.

"Why did you suddenly become speechless?" Lola taunted and scuffed

"Whoever you are, I'm the woman Audrey loves so stay away" Carla said proudly.

"Bah. Even if you were the last woman on Earth And the most beautiful woman on earth Audrey still won't love you."

Besides I'm the only one he loves right Audrey" Lola said looking at Audrey she wasn't afraid or spoiling things for him from his actions earlier he didn't seem to care about her she looks more like an enemy to her an Audrey enemy was her enemy

"Yes my baby girl I love you only"Andrew said patting her head as if smoothing down the fur of a little angry cat

Now this was Lola he knew she always spoke with such a vicious tongue.

"And oh I'm not done with you do you want to know the reason why Andrew dislikes you" Lola said when she saw Carla was about to leave it's had been long since she lashed at someone this way why not utilise it properly

Carla paused Lola smiled satisfactory " that is because you are like you bug a big old slimy one at that even if you were cleaned up and dressed up you still can't change the fact that you are a bug which Andrey dislikes" Lola said then she took Andrey's arm to lead him back to his apartment.

They had not taken up to two steps forward when Carla rushed up madly grabbed Lola by her hair and hit her hard on her face. Lola's eyes turned red from the pain in her scalp and face. She turned around and rammed her elbow in Carla's face the pain made her release her grip on Lola's hair

Lola didn't wait for her to recover she directly hit her once more. Carla lost her balance and fell to the floor.

Audrey who had just recovered from the shock pulled Lola away and held her in his arms.

"Audrey my face hurts " Lola said as though she was about to burst into tears.

"I'm sorry baby girl let's go in" Andrey said blowing air on her face gently "Carla I hope you understand that what we had was a one time thing. I stated it from the beginning and you were okay with it. I may have ignored you hovering around me but it has to stop"

Andrey only followed behind when they entered his apartment he brought an ice pack for her. Lola put it on her face then walked to the fridge. She took out two bottles of soda.

"Let's go to the balcony" Audrey said as she walked to the balcony while Andrey followed. They both sat on the bean bag chair in the balcony while Lola handed him a bottle of soda.
