Messing Around

The next morning immediately the alarm⁷ went off Lola frowned she turned to the other side and covered her head with a pillow. The alarm sounded once more this time more like the honking of a ship. Lola threw the pillow to the side. She stood up from the bed feeling vexed. Anyways she only had herself to blame for the disturbance.

She took her bath hurriedly. She wore one of her tank tips and a loose shorts.

She decided to lie on the bed for sometime promising herself not to fall asleep. Just as she was indulging herself and almost fell asleep her phone rang.

It was Omar so she picked it.

~Where are you? It's already 6:05

~I'm coming Lola mumbled hung up the call then dragged her sleepy body outside to the servant quarters

When she arrived she saw Omar leaning against the wall going through his phone.

When he saw her he yawned and said

"Welcome my lady this humble official has been awaiting your arrival for the past 10 minutes"

Lola merely pouted and flicked her hand

"Morning" she said softly

"Come on sleepy head" Omar said ruffling her hair Lola had packed hurriedly

He dragged Lola along and both of them started jogging through the path that led to the lake. The morning sun was yet to rise fully only peeking at the two people jogging together.

Halfway to the lake Lola was now fully awake and was already perspiring. Omar started to increase his pace.

But Lola shouted "stop going so fast I can't keep up"

Omar paused and looked back. An idea came to his mind. He quickly took out his phone and took a picture of Lola before she noticed what was happening

"stop !" Lola shouted immediately the camera's light flashed.

"Omar delete that photo" Lola said but Omar merely held the phone high above his head and said

"If you reach the lake before me you can delete it if not I might post it on i*******m"

Immediately he said it he began to run before Lola could contribute a thing. She ended up chasing after him. But he still reached the lake 2 minutes before her.

Lola arrived out of breath and started imploring on Omar to delete the photo

Omar waited for her to catch her breath before saying "Race you back to the villa" and he immediately took off.

Lola chased behind him stopping occasionally and Omar was nice enough to stop too.

When they reached the servant quarters. Omar went inside his room and brought two bottle of water.

He gave Lola one as they sat on the stairs. After Lola recovered her strength she asked Omar to delete the picture which he did. Lola leaned against his shoulder to watch him delete it.

This was the scene Hayden who had just showered and came out to the balcony wearing only a trouser and no shirt saw.

He had the urge to go there and separate them but considered that it would only make Lola scared of him. She clearly questioned his intentions already.

He inhaled deeply then exhaled before turning back into his room and lay on the bed

Lola returned to her room and took a bath. When she finished she wore a black tank top and pink shorts. She decide to rest for sometime at 7:16 Omar called

~Get your lazy ass back here

Then he hung up

Lola trotted to the garden her honey colored skin gleaming under the morning sun. When she reached Omar handed her a garden hose. They both began to water the plants dutifully. They were done 10 minutes earlier.

Lola decided to be mischievous she increased the pressure of the water and aimed it at Omar. A little play wouldn't harm anyone

Omar who didn't have time to hide got hit fully in his face. He directed his aim at Lola who turned around and ran in the opposite direction. They had both lost awareness of their environment.

Hayden who had just decided to go see what was happening in the garden happened to see them. Lola was running her tank top and shorts soaked with water with a garden hose in her hand while Omar pursued from behind.

He couldn't take it and said loud enough for them both to hear

"Is this what you are paid for?"

Lola and Omar instinctively stopped and looked back to the source of the voice. They quickly turned off the water and let the hose drop to the ground.

"Good morning young master" they both chorused. Hayden looked coldly at Omar before saying.

"Lola come with me"

Lola felt instant fear. She wasn't sure what side of Hayden she preferred his mean side or nice side. She got scared no matter what side he showed her.

After he said so he turned back and headed back to the villa while Lola followed behind

When they were inside Hayden said without turning back

"Go to your room and change" after he said so he headed up the stairs.

Lola breathed out a sigh of relief as she also headed to her room. She had thought he was going to punish her.

When she reached her room she took a bath for the third time this morning and changed into a plain gown.

She called Selena to check up on her. When she was done she hurriedly went to the kitchen and saw the chefs were already done preparing breakfast. She immediately washed her hands and went to call the young master.

When she had just reached the foot of the stairs she saw him coming down his hands in his pocket. She said "Young master breakfast is being served

He didn't spare her a glance as he walked past her and strode to the dining hall while Lola followed behind. Why does she feel like he is throwing a tantrum by keeping quiet Lola thought? This man gave her another reason once more to avoid him.

When they reached the dining hall Hayden took his seat while Lola hastily started serving him. When she was done Hayden told her to seat. Lola took her seat far away from him.

Hayden finished his breakfast and returned to his room still feeling angry at Lola. He lay on his bed and thought. How could she dress like that and run around with that guy. Thoughts about the earlier scene kept running through his head.

He decided to go out to avoid thinking normally he wouldn't be in his villa today he always gave the excuse of being busy only him knew he just wanted to avoid that free time where he would think about the past and Cassandra
