Lily tucked herself in as she waited for Betty to meet her. Charles had called Betty out, he seemed so tense so Betty followed him expectant of what he wanted to tell her. Once they were out of hearing, Charles sighed

"I know you are happy that you and lily are okay now," he said grinning.

"And you want to spend the rest of the day with her before she travels back"

He hesitated for a while as he looked at her trying to figure out how she would act but Betty just kept a poker face staring at him.

"I want to have a date with lily tomorrow evening"

"But you can have her in the morning" he added. silence reigned between both of them and Charles was getting uncomfortable with the fact that Betty hadn't said anything.

"Okay," she said and Charles smiled at her.

"Thank you," he said hugging her.
