Chapter 22 Carina's Burial

Rouge hadn't recovered yet from being comatose.

Nathaniel and Kristina arranged the burial of Carina in Montevista's Butterfly Garden wherein they had a hard time comforting Mrs.Paz Montevista from mourning with her beloved adopted daughter, Carina.

"I just couldn't get it. Why was it that Carina suffered this cruel death? There were so many bad people out there? Why was my daughter? Why?" Mrs. Montevista grieves a lot.

Nathaniel hugged his mother who was almost passing out when Carina's coffin arrived.

He felt his mother's shaking body and he was quite afraid that his mother would faint.

"Calm down Ma. Carina is at peace now, she won't feel any pain anymore," he caresses his mother's back to comfort her.
