Alsie/Rana POV-

I whipped my head around to the kitchen doorway; I knew that voice. I haven’t heard it in ages! My whole body tingled with excitement.

There he was, standing in the same room as me and my mates.

“Kane!” I shouted as I jumped up into his arms.

“What are you doing here? How are you here? I missed you,” I said, as I nuzzled his neck.

“Umm, Sunshine. I think we have some explaining to do,” Kane said quietly, not putting me down.

Kane put his fingers under my chin and tilted my head back so he could look into my eyes, “OK, it’s you. You know who I am?” Kane asked me.

“How could I not?” I asked in bewilderment, “You’re my mate?”

Just as the words left my lips, I heard a roar, and a table flip. All three of the Alpha triplets had encircled Kane and me, all three of them baring their teeth, growling.

“WHAT?” growled Osiris, “NO, not happening!”

I wiggled out of Kane’s arms and went to Osiris. I placed one hand on his chest over his heart, and the other on his lower back.

    Alsie POV-I found a large corkboard and I brought it back to my office. I hung it between the two whiteboards. I pulled index cards out of my desk drawer, and I started writing thigs pertaining to my open case on the index cards. Once I finished my piles, I tacked them onto the corkboard under the proper categories. This helped me see my cases better. It cut out the time of looking through notes and trying to remember all the players in the scenario.It was a few hours later when Osiris walked into my office.“Hey Gorgeous, are you joining us for lunch?”“It’s lunchtime already?”“Yes, you’ve been in here for hours.
