I want to go home

Angela stood at the corner of the grand hall, merging into the shadows so that she would go unnoticed by these bumptious people. The party was getting more and more vapid and tiresome for her since she had no one to mingle with. 

Her stomach growled, reminding of her skipping dinner today. She was in such a rush that she had no time to cook. 

She went to the catering section to grab some food. She placed a chocolate pastry on her plate and began eating it. It was so delicious that it brought tears of joy to her eyes. She wolfed it down in a matter of minutes. 

A waiter approached her with some champagne and asked. "Would you like some drinks mam?" Angela politely declines, stating she doesn't drink. She had low alcohol tolerance, and drinking it in the presence of all these people would be a bad idea. 

"Then how about orange juice, mam?" The waiter asked again.
