Sparing a smile

Angela slapped her face with a handful of faucet water. The docile peachy fragrance of the soap given off from her fresh face. Droplets of glassy water dappled on her smooth rosy tan skin. 

Her makeup had completely worn out and she didn't feel like her face being weighed by chemicals nor the morning hangover. 

She dabbed her face using the clean white facecloth hung beside the basin. She had also washed her mouth with toothpaste mixed with water, churning in her mouth like the blender in her kitchen. At least the morning breath was gone.

Earlier, she checked her phone to discover the dozen missed calls and text messages from Mr Rogan. The texts were nothing but a long line of 'bad words.'

He was 'asking' where she had disappeared and that her car was still there outside their gates. She did not even bother to reply and left him on seen ever so brazenly. 

Mr Rogan did not care where had gone, he wanted to know if she had caught herse
