101. Reborn

Thaddeus’ POV

While waiting for the outcome, I was already not fine; I was anxious all the time while Salvatore and Leila were gazing at me all the time. They were also not sure what would happen in the following few hours. They both glanced at me with anxious eyes and sat next to me to make me feel better. But I am not even okay.

My mind was full of thoughts right now that I didn’t even wonder if it's good to think about it.

“Hey, Thaddeus. It’s going to be fine, just don’t pressure yourself because you look like you are going to explode in worry.” Salvatore said.

I cocked my head to the side to cast a sidelong glance in his direction and said, "You don't know anything about being worried, Damn. I have a lot of concerns regarding her; in your opinion, do you believe she will be okay? I am aware that my heart has stopped beating, but for some reason it felt as if it was going to burst out of my chest because I was so terrified that I was going to lose her at any moment in time."
