Chapter 24

"What are we doing now, Jirah? Aren't you going to your taping session? How can we move out if we are stuck here?" The man yelled as his assistant was hiding behind him.

 

Jirah was so scared of the sparks caused by the electric explosion. She didn't talk and uttered a word because of her intense reactions towards the dim environment plus the presence of a famous actor. As Terrence looked back, he saw the frightened face of a woman. Instead of blabbering, he smiled at her, thinking of strange things.

 

"Oh! I never thought that when it came to dark, a cowardly girl would hide behind me," Terrence stated.

 

It was unusual that Jirah was so touchy with the man, as there was nothing to do but let her hold his wrist. Terrence tried to keep the flashlight on Jirah's phone constant, but suddenly it went off. What happened to it? Well, obviously it ran out of batteries.

 

Later on, the emergency light of the elevator switched on.
