SARAH

I looked up at the towering building above me, where Robyn had agreed to finally meet up after weeks of him not reaching out to me.

I sighed staring at my screen, watching the messages of Ryan pop piling up in my notification box.

“I can’t let Robyn see these texts!”’I mumbled to myself and had my phone turned off immediately.

The receptionist by the entrance smiled as I forced a smile back at her, walking towards her and asking for his room number.

“Mr. Rob!” I called out to her leaning forward to her desk with a smile.

“Room 237 Ma’am, he’s been waiting!” She said in a tone I sort of didn’t find proper for a receptionist to a customer.

I never liked the idea of me coming over to a hotel to meet up with him, but then he had been out of town for weeks now and needed some time away from his house.
