After getting her ready and helping get her to eat something that he was able to start the day right even though he knew it was a lot later than he wanted to start this. he couldn't complain about the late start though because it was of his own doing. He would never complain about that. And he wondered if he was ever going to be able to get out of bed before midday ever again as long as she was next to him. That was one thing that he would have to figure out eventually. He honestly didn't think that he could ever get enough of her. He had so many places that he wanted to take her today that he wasn't exactly sure if they would make it. Though right now he was going to take it easy and just keep up with what she could keep pace with. He was unsure how used to everything she would be. The island was small and you could hike it pretty much in an entire day but she would probably need to take breaks because she's still in the process of resting from all of turn of the past
The first place said he wanted to take her to with the Canyon that was right before the major exit to the water on the other side of the island where she had not come in with the boat. It was one of his most relaxing places and also one of his favorite on the island he got off and go there too just relax. He would look at the water and think about her. Knowing that she was somewhere out there. In his mind he always knew that this would probably be the first place that he took her on the island. He had spent so much time there just trying to figure out how to find her. When they walked out of the house he took her hand and led her down the path that brought them to a smaller path but it was enough for them to work side-by-side hand in hand. She really wasn't dressed for a major hike and that was OK because this one wasn't necessarily one of the more treasures ones. The two major made their way to the beginning of the Canyon and she just looked around and she was
“she didn't really teach you all that much about anything did she?” Gabriel asked as he shook his head. “the others are kind that came before warewolves. Even before humans. They are timeless. I guess the humans would actually call them fairies, at least I think that's what the term is. We have all sorts of tales about them but we know that they are one of the most powerful creatures in the entire planets existence. Like I said they are timeless. We honor them by giving them these places to stay.”“You believe in fairies?” Desiree said she almost started to laugh. She couldn't believe that this man in front of her could actually admit to the fact that he believed in something that was absolutely unfounded.“We don't dismiss what we can see. But most of the time we actually do know that they are here sometimes. Things get moved in a way that we can start to see the difference. As long as we give them the offerings
Gabriel was trying to figure out exactly what that meant. Though he left this statement unchecked. He wasn't going to say anything to anyone about the fact that the others now seemed to want to actually interact with people. He believed in what people said but he had never actually expected that he would be one of the ones that had been touched by them. Though it was more of the fact that they wanted to have a piece of Desiree not him. That actually spoke to him in many ways and he was not exactly sure how that was going to play out in the grand scheme of things but he was more than happy to allow that to happen if they were going to bless them as the next rulers. As far as he knew the others had never done that before with any other of their kind. That was when he could actually hear the horses coming from the back of him. He knew what was going to happen and he knew who was coming as well. He continued ups the way to the lookout that he often spent time at. He
Whatever happened between watching his father and the other talk he knew something big was happening. No look on his father's face was absolutely priceless in many different ways because he had never seen his father absolutely shocked or scared of anything in his life. This was going to be something extremely big. And he quickly took off down the and then over the footbridge to his horse. He was extremely quick with the way that he was moving like he needed to get away from there and he would never return again. Gabriel found himself chuckling at the fact that his father had taken off that way. He had never seen that. He would probably never see it again either. It had something to do with the others and it also had something to do with Desiree. The other seemed to know something about her. Maybe he wasn't that far off there was some kind of alliance or that she was part of them. No he didn't exactly know how that would possibly be.Desiree had just watched the
Gabriel did not want to rush her as she seemed to be completely enjoying the view and the sights of everything around them. She felt at peace and he could feel that peace emanating from her. It was quite obvious that she enjoyed being outside in the nature even though she was so pale that he was actually afraid that she was going to sunburn. No she didn't seem to be in any discomfort. He was almost positive that she would be paying for it later. He didn't even know if they had the things that would help her or ease the pain. If she did.he also knew that within a few hours his mother would either be there or waiting for them at the cottage when they got back. He wanted to make sure that she enjoyed her day before actually meeting her godmother who was his mother. That might actually be too much for her because he knew that his mother would be overbearing and would want to take her away. She didn't understand everything that was going on within their life right n
The sun began to set in the distance over the water. He knew that it was time to go back even though that he could probably see better than she could in the dark then he could in the light but because of their eyes and the fact that she had lived with humans for so long that he didn't wanna take the chance that something what happened. “We should head back to the cottage. Things seem to happen at night and though I know that I could easily defend both of us I really don't wanna take the chance right now. The fact that your home people will want to celebrate and their idea of celebrating probably will not be the same as yours.”“what do you mean it wouldn't be the same as mine?” she asked if she looked at him as they both stood up and she brushed off the layer of grass that was on there clothes.“I believe that your ideal celebration is probably more civil than theirs. They will be a little bit more apt to want to start to sho
As they got closer to the cottage he saw that the door was cracked open. He knew that was a sign that his mother was there or one of her pages at least. He tried his best to steady himself knowing that whatever was going to happen was going to happen whether he wanted to or not. He wasn't going to be able to stop it. It was just one of those things that he knew what's going to happen. He was glad that they have a nice peaceful day. He also just wanted to eat something. One of the problems that they had as a species was they needed more calories in just a human. They had a tendency of burning them a lot faster which is one of the reasons why he was not as bulky as most of the other men on the island. He seemed to burn more than the most of them. Though he was trying not to be as lanky as he was. He knew that he could actually take down his mother if it was necessary. He let out a sigh and then pushed open the door. He saw his mother sitting there on the couch kno
As the two began to settle in for the night after eating us simple dinner he looked at her and then he was caught back in a memory. he actually began to wonder if it was something that was triggered by the others or with something that was triggered earlier by seeing both of his parents when he didn't want to.“You have to run. You have to get away from this island. Take the girl and get away. I don't care if she lives or dies after about a year. That means that nobody is looking for her. That means nobody is left to look for her.” he saw his mother talking to the woman who had taken Desiree away. He was going to have to confirm what he just thought he remembered with the other woman. It was enough evidence that made sense for her to want to get rid of the woman period now that Desiree was back. That would almost be treason for his mother to try and get rid of another pack in its entire T. Even if the fact of the matter was that
