“You guys look miserable. Is not sleeping with me really that terrible?” I ask as I take in the rough state of my mates. They look drained.

“I slept just fine.” Beckett replies, “ I just feel weak like my muscles hurt, and I couldn’t command the water for the shower. I had to get up and physically turn the water on.”

“Oh, poor baby.” I teased, even though I was a little concerned.

“Weird,” Miles states, rubbing the back of his head. “I was rearranging my room; that way, there’s more room for extracurricular activities,” he states, staring directly at me, before turning his attention back to Beckett, “But I didn’t even have the strength to move my bed.”

Now that’s unbelievable. Miles is the strongest of my mates; his muscles are nearly double the size of Aphelion’s, whose biceps are slightly larger than average.
