8. Choice

The white towel perfectly wrapped Elena's tall, slender body. The woman stood in front of a mirror that contained her entire body. She smiled sweetly seeing how beautiful and sexy she was.

When compared to Aria, that woman wins on all sides. Especially after giving birth, Aria looked very fat and unattractive.

"No wonder Jayden really likes me," Elena said proudly to herself. Until the sound of a cell phone on the table distracted him.

"Hello!" said Elena putting her cellphone to her ear.

"What are you doing?" asked the caller. Who else if not Jayden.

"I just finished showering. Why, darling? It's normal for you to call," said Elena while playing with her still wet hair.

"It's okay. I just missed you."

The woman chuckled slightly. Even though she had been with Jayden for a long time, Elena always blushed every time she heard sweet words from the man.

"Then what do you want me to do?" Elena asked as if challenging the man.

"Come to the hotel tonight. I'll send you the address," Jayden said.

"Okay."

After getting an agreement, the telephone connection was disconnected. Elena really hopes that her meeting with Jayden tonight will be to discuss the man's divorce from Aria and then discuss their marriage.

However, it turns out that Elena's expectations were beyond expectations.

The glass containing the wine shattered into pieces on the floor.

"Ah, damn!" Jayden cursed, looking frustrated at Elena's departure. He wouldn't chase the woman now because it would only make things more chaotic.

Elena who is emotional will be very difficult to persuade. Let her emotions out first and then Jayden will come to persuade her.

Jayden took the glass containing wine on the table then drank it slowly. The man looked out the hotel window on the thirtieth floor.

Since the beginning, Jayden's marriage to Aria was only for business purposes. Just a gimmick to make their family look perfect. No matter how much Jayden hated Aria, he still did it so that what the man wanted could come true.

But Jayden was too fed up of acting in front of Aria that he made a decision that he regrets a little today.

Why did Jayden let Aria know about his and Elena's relationship so quickly? Jayden should have been able to control his ego a little until he got everything.

Actually, Jayden was chasing Hans to give him the gift he had prepared. Initially he planned to give the gift at the party but Jayden changed his mind and intended to give it himself. That's when he heard Andrew and Hans' conversation.

"If it weren't for you, Mr Andrew, I wouldn't be interested in becoming an investor in Mr Jayden's company," said Hans. "But, because I believe in you, especially Mr Jayden is also your son-in-law so I think there's no harm in giving him a chance," he added.

"Thank you very much Mr Hans. I'm sure you won't regret working with my son-in-law. He is very reliable. You will make big profits," Andrew assured the man.

The two of them laughed there, while Jayden, who was standing behind the wall, could only clench his fists.

Damn! that means Jayden cannot sever the relationship between his family and Andrew's family now, in other words Jayden cannot divorce Aria immediately. Because if Hans found out, he could refuse to cooperate and that would ruin Jayden's company name.

Even though this collaboration is Jayden's biggest dream. He won't let anything get in his way. Whatever it takes, Jayden will try to maintain his dreams and his relationship with Elena. Even though that means he will hurt Aria even more.

Besides, why should Jayden care about the pain Aria will feel?

Elena roughly slammed the bag she was carrying onto the sofa. The tears she had been holding back for a long time finally fell. The woman sat on the floor hugging her knees. Hiding the crying voice that made him feel so weak in front of fate.

"Are you going to lose a second time, Elena?" the woman whispered sadly. She really felt sorry for herself. Even though just now she was so proud of herself. felt that she would never lose. But for some reason, every plan she designed never matched what happened. It always ended up being Elena who would cry. It's not that she doesn't want to see the man she loves succeed, but couldn't Elena be the reason for that?

"Why does it have to be Aria? Why not me?!" Elena screamed loudly, throwing the flower vase that was on the table until it shattered.

"It's not my fault that I was born into a broken family... sob... sob," Elena's tears sounded increasingly sad. If only her family was like Aria's, maybe her fate wouldn't be as tragic as it is now. Surely everything will be different.

"Elena!" call someone breaking into the woman's house. She just looked away for a moment then looked away.

The figure approached her and immediately hugged Elena from behind.

"Why are you here, huh? Just come to your wife, you don't have to come to me again!" Angry, Elena rebelled but it was useless because she was too weak from crying too much. It turns out that Elena's childish side and wanting to be coaxed never disappeared.
