"It is a business date, Blaine! You are getting paranoid!" Delaney was losing her patience.

Since she got this job, Blaine had become increasingly overprotective and insecure. It got worse when he visited her office and saw that she shared the same space with her boss.

He complained about her dresses, makeup, hair-do, everything. Gosh! It was no longer funny.

"Look, babe. I don't trust your boss. He definitely has an eye for you, trust me." Blaine tried explaining. "Why would he get you a dress and such expensive earrings? Why is he being so nice to you?"

"Blaine..."

"He is a man, Delaney. He likes you."

"Blaine. Not every man has an eye for me! Come on. You have to grow up. It's becoming frustrating."

"Why did he get such a short, skimpy dress for you? What is he up to? Huh?" He walked towards the dressing table where she sat, his frustration and anger already getting the best of him. "Answer me, Delaney!" His tone was firm, but he tried to keep his voice as low as possible.
