On the way towards where our mums were buried I stopped him.

“Is everything alright?" The concern in his eyes made me want to break down in tears.

I nodded at him.

“I don't think I am ready." I stared at my laps.

“Home." He ordered his driver who took a different route immediately.

“Come here." He ordered and scooted closer to him and sniffed in his scent.

I was tired of crying.

“I don't think I ever want to meet my dad." I told him and felt him nod.

I imagined my dad as one of the assholes who would want to take advantage of my being with the Mafia Lord to manipulate me.

I shuddered at the thought, I don't mind driving a bullet into his skull to avoid unnecessary drama. I wasn't afraid of the sight of blood anymore.

“Would you want to resume acting?" He asked and I froze, my thoughts blowing off in different directions before I sat straight to have a glimpse of his face.

“Even with me being the new vice…”

"It doesn't matter. Do you want to resume acting?” He had a small smi

“What is it?" Dominik was by my side in seconds, his eyes scanning the crowd before looking back at me. “N…nothing.” I shook my head. I must have probably been hallucinating. "Valentina.” He pressed for an answer as he grabbed my arm, making me turn to look at him with a blank expression. "I thought I saw Lorenzo.” I said at once and watched his eyes widen ever so slightly. "Come with me.” "Babe?” He dragged me with him back to his van. “I won't terminate the contract!" I cried out, not minding the questioning looks thrown at us. He paid me no mind, only barking out his orders after locking the both of us inside the van. He needed to make sure the entire location was swept through and there wasn't any sign of danger. Only after he got the confirmation that we were safe did he relax. “Take this." He handed me the smallest gun I have ever seen in my life. “No." I blinked at him.“Valentina." He called through clenched teeth. “I will have to wear a bikini in the first scene,

I felt disgusted by his words. “So you got my mum drugged.” Valentina asked the dying man, the frost in her voice made me sad. She looked like an angel of death with his hands now by her side. "I had to…survive." He huffed, his face contorting in pain. “I need to get treated." He managed to say without breaking a sweat but his voice got lower. “Do you?" She took a step towards him, placed a foot on the spot where she shot and pressed it in.Morretti yelled so loud that Bianca's eyes flew open and she began to cry.“Dad! Valentina you have to let him go! He is sorry, he is sorry!" She cried as she got to her knees but by Baby only gave her a fleeting glance before looking back at Morretti. When he slumped, both women began crying again until Valentina pointed her cute black gun at Liliana. The stupid woman scrambled away, hiding behind Bianca who looked ready to faint again. “Get him treated." She ordered.I chuckled silently at how well she fitted into my world. She gave the co

He held the sobbing woman tightly in his arms, his eyes empty of emotions as patted her back and whispered words of consolation to her. The last thing he wanted was to be here with her but what could he do? “Do you believe me?" She blinked at him after she disengaged from the hug. Was she stupid? Even if he believed her, what was she trying to imply? “I do." He nodded. “But tell me how it happened again." He tried his best to look concerned. He never liked her, she wasn't his type of woman but he needed to convert her company really badly, he needed to make a name for himself by getting married to her. After he had gotten married to her, he would make sure he had his name in the legal documents of the company and after a divorce, he would become the owner. The plan was already set, he had all this well planned out with the love of his life, imagining Liliana's smiley face brought calmness to his soul. He could at least put up with this woman a bit longer.“I got to a business m

I tore it open with anger and didn't bother reading through, I only ran my eyes down to the final result. Morretti Davis and I weren't a match! I held the paper so hard that I felt it tear in my tight hold. My vision began to blur and soon my entire body rocked as I cried. “Hey? Hey Baby?" Dominik was by my side in seconds as he took the already crumpled paper away from me.My shoulders shook as I cried, I looked up at him expecting to see his face but all I saw were the hazy outline of his face as I cried. I couldn't remember my mother's face and the father I knew all along turned out not to be my father. I was truly an orphan or probably a bastard! Dominik went in front of me, sat on his deck and held me close to him, running his hand through my hair as I cried. He said things to me that I couldn't hear due to my loud sobs or maybe, I probably didn't want to hear what he had to say. When I felt better and was only hiccuping. He released me, got down from the desk and bent to

As we stepped into the lobby all activities ceased and we had all eyes on us. Dominik was without his mask for the first time, I think. And when I stole a glance at him, his swollen lips were wide in a perpetual smile as he led me towards the elevator. Seeing most of the reigning celebrities and their manager look at us like we were stars from the sky made me feel powerful. I stepped into the waiting elevator meant for him alone and he stopped in with me.“Why don't we continue from where we stopped?" He trapped me in between his hands. “No way!" I pushed against his chest but he wouldn't bulge.“I can't." “It wouldn't be bad to fuck you in the elevator, don't you think?" I stared at him with my lips parted. It felt like the words I had to say got stuck in my throat as I blinked at him. What was he saying? “Is that the only thing you know how to do?" “To you?" He asked. “Nah." He responded himself.“I also know how to make you get married to me." I blushed anew and pushed him
