*Ajay Pov*

"I am sorry for being unprofessional yesterday, Sir." She said, placing the coffee cup on my table the very next day.

"You need not apologize to me." I said, turning to stare at my system.

"Shall I give you a brief about today's schedule?" she asked me ignoring my words.

"Actually, I need to give you a schedule for this weekend." I replied staring at her back.

"Excuse me, Sir?" She asked frowning.

"There is an anniversary function of the top client this weekend. You need to be present along with me as we are going to have a small meeting at the beginning of the function itself." I replied.

"Ok, Sir!" She said, and I looked at her surprised.

"Red is the theme for the girls, and you are my date." I said and gave the news about my accepting the invitation to the client.

"No, Sir!" She said, and I stopped typing to look at her again.

"What?" I asked her frowning.

"I will not be your date, Sir." She replied and started noting down the time and date of the function in her book.

"It is a rule to be there with a date." I said sighing.

"Then I will bring one by my own, Sir." She said walking outside the cabin.

"She will come with another guy?" I asked to myself and frowned more.

"Hello! Can we be there without a date?" I asked the client calling him immediately.

"No! It is our rule Mr.Mehra. What is the problem? I am sure anyone would be ready to be your date." Client replied.

"Right!" I mumbled and hung up. Everyone is really ready to be my date. I thought, shaking my head for my sarcastic thought.

I am sure she will not bring another one as her date, but will she follow the red color theme.

I walked inside the room and saw her sitting on the bed. I smiled and sat beside her and immediately felt her nervousness.

"Red looks really good on you. No wonder it is your favorite." I said, looking at her in pure red Saree.

"I wanted to wear black for you, but Mom said it is not good for the occasion." She said looking at her hands.

"No need to feel shy, Jiya. It is just me." I said, holding her hand.

"I know! But Mom just ruined it by telling some details so just feeling tensed." She said, and I can feel her hand trembling.

"Sleep." I said, kissing her forehead.

"What?" She asked, staring at me for the first time after I enter the room.

"Let's get some sleep." I replied and lay down beside her.

She too followed my suit, but a little near to me. I looked around the small room and the small bed.

"I hope you are fine with this house." I said, placing my hand over her shoulder.

"It is so beautiful, but needs little changes." She said, placing her head on my shoulder.

Just one year and everything will be over. I thought closing my eyes, and we both drift off into deep sleep.

"So what do you think, Mr.Mehra?" I came out of my thoughts when the client asked me after his presentation.

"It is good, but I need to look at it again." I replied and started looking at it actually for the first time.

"There should be little changes here, and then we are good to go." I said, and client nodded.

"There are no more meetings for today, Sir." Jiya said when we walked inside the cabin.

"Are you really going to get some date?" I asked her frowning.

"Yes! But are you thinking, I can't have someone who could be brought Sir?" She asked, glancing up at me from the book.

"No, no! Just asking as I have to search for a date now." I replied.

"Ms.Rose will be happy to oblige." She offered and I fisted my hand.

"I am sure she is." I said, nodding and she nodded back leaving the cabin.

If she really, finds her date, then I have no other option but Ms.Rose, I guess.

*Jiya Pov*

It's been three days, but still I didn't find anyone to be taken as a date. Well, I have to back off from going then.

"Hey!" Someone said when I completed fixing coffee for Mr.Mehra.

"Hi!" I said, turning back to see some co-worker guy.

"How is the day?" He asked, scratching his neck.

"It's just started." I replied shrugging.

"Ok! Actually, I need a small favor from you. My system is under repair, and this is the second time this month. If Mr.Mehra knows, then he will fire me." He said trembling.

Poor guy! Mr.Mehra really can make everyone tremble with fear whenever he barks.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked him.

"I heard you are really good at repairing the systems. Can you do it for me please?" He pleaded.

"What is your name?" I asked him.

"Raj! I am sure you have heard the name." He replied grinning.

"Right! A movie dialogue when you want me to fix the system." I said raising my eyebrow.

"I am sorry!" He immediately said.

"I need a return favor." I said, staring at him.

"What is it?" He asked frowning.

"Be my date for a function I have to attend this weekend along with Mr.Mehra, and I will repair your system and even two extra times after this." I replied.

"Are you serious? You shouldn't call this as a favor because no one in the right mind will say 'no' to be as your date." He said flirting.

"You should be in your limits and don't talk inappropriately. And also must do what I ask you to. Then that is a favor right?" I asked him, and he nodded with his excitement falling down within seconds it raised.

"Let's see what you have done to your system." I said and walked to his place after placing the cup on Mr.Mehra's table, and he was busy in his phone.

"See, so simple." I said doing it.

"That stupid technician took five thousand for this." He said shocked.

"Don't forget your word." I said walking outside.

"You have very good talent with the systems." He said behind me.

"Let's go to some movie" I said, placing my head on his shoulder completely bored.

"Don't disturb me Jiya. I need to finish this, but my system is struck." Ajay said completely irritated.

"OK! I will clear the problem then will we go to a movie?" I asked him smiling.

"You can do it? Ok, try then." He replied smugly and passed the laptop.

Within minutes, the problem is cleared, and then it was me who looked smug. He just stared at me in shock.

It's been one month, and he is the perfect husband. He is even giving me time not making me uncomfortable at all.

"I will go and get ready for the movie." I said kissing his cheek.

"You have very good talent with the systems." He said amazed.

"Just complete your work and get ready. The deal is a deal, mister." I said, winking and bounced towards our room.

I shook my head and reached the table. In the evening, when I walked inside his cabin to say I am leaving he stopped me.

"So did you get a date?" he asked.

"I got one Sir. Thanks for your concern, but I will be allowed inside the function to help you in the meeting Sir." I replied and walked outside.

"He is calling me inside, and I don't know why." Ms.Rose said, excitedly to her friend when I walked towards the elevator.

Looks like he too got a date...
