Sean Bramasta is feeling gloomy tonight. Somehow. He was in the mood to beat up someone, or if necessary, kill someone. Tonight he came to the club not for fun, but to find trouble. By surrounded by bodyguards who are always ready to guard him, even though not necessary, because Sean mastered several martial prowess. But when you have a lot of money, it's better if you let someone else do everything for you.
The club owner himself welcomed him. Of course, considering how much he owed Sean. With hurriedly the fat man led him to the best VIP seat.
"You can choose anyone to accompany you," muttered the club owner in a livid tone.
Sean glanced around in disinterestedness, staring at all the women there who were almost ant-like around him, with gazes wishing to be selected. Too cheap. He muttered to himself, all the humans in this world are cheap and sycophants. Sean decided not to choose anyone, when his gaze caught on to her. The girl who looks out of place in this fancy nightclub. Wearing extraordinarily sexy clothes but looking uncomfortable in it.
Unconsciously a wicked smile appeared on his lips. "I want her," he muttered, pointing at the woman.
-----------
"I want her."
The words were spoken in a calmly lazy tone, but the echo could be heard throughout the room. For some reason, the frenzied atmosphere became silent and Renee felt all the eyes fall on her, who was leaning against the bar table, busy with her own thoughts.
Renee nervously straightened her body, tried to meet everyone's gaze, then her eyes were fixed on him, eyes so pale brown that they were almost translucent, causing his pupils to appear so black and sharp.
“Get over there quickly. He wants you," the bartender who was standing behind her whispered to her, as if afraid that if Renee did not hasten to do what Sean wanted, it would be fatal.
Renee frowned at Sean, trying to challenge the eyes of the man, who were still staring at her so sharply without expression.
"Is ... is ..." Renee cleared her throat because her voice was so hoarse. "Would you like to be brought a drink?"
Sean only stared at her for a few tense moments, then nodded his head. "Bring one, my usual drink."
Quickly, the bartender mixes Sean's favorite drink, his usual drink. Renee's hands trembled when she received the tray of drinks. A little more, Renee, she muttered, trying to encourage herself. Soon all your grudges will be avenged, a little more. Renee spoke those words like a prayer, with trembling steps she approached Sean who was sitting like the king, waiting for her.
She put the glass down on Sean's front desk. I hope you drink it quickly and die, Renee's prayer silently.
But it seemed that God still wanted Sean alive, because he didn't seem interested in touching his drink. His eyes were instead on Renee and glaring at him.
"Sit." Sean snapped his fingers, glanced at the place next to him.
Renee's whole body twitched accepting such arrogant orders, her eyes unconsciously radiating hatred, who would this man dare to order her like this? When Renee was pensive, another waitress nervously pushed her to sit down, obeying Sean's request, so Renee was forced to sit next to Sean.
"What is your name?" Sean glared intently at Renee, not taking a single glance at the drink glass on his table.
Renee was ready with this question, her pseudonym, "Gladdys." The answer is stiff.
Sean frowned at her intently, then those long fingers suddenly stretched out and pulled Renee's chin closer, so that he could observe Renee's face carefully. "I've never seen your face here before."
"Uh, she—she is our new employee, Mr. Sean, excuse her impoliteness, I have never taught her how to bring drinks to a guest as important as you." With a scolding look he warned Renee. "Come on, Gladdys, introduce yourself to Mr. Sean. Mr. Sean has chosen you to be his drink maid, it is an honor for you, you should be grateful."
The order made Renee straighten her chin proudly. "I've introduced myself and I've brought a drink to dear Mr. Sean, so I'm leaving." Renee replied curtly, as she got up from her seat, after all her mission had been accomplished. The poisoned drink glass was already on Sean's table and soon Sean would die from suffocation.
But before Renee could stand up, Sean grabbed her fingers and pulled her tight, so that she sat down again, this time on Sean's lap.
"What ... what ...." Her voice stopped when those cold hard lips suddenly crushed hers, Renee struggled when she realized that Sean was chewing her lips with a hot, wet kiss.
The kiss was really disrespectful because Sean's cold lips without permission immediately bit her lips without holding back, his tongue immediately burst into her, smoked it, enjoyed it and crushed it mercilessly. Renee's entire body felt burning, hot with anger and fever with passion.
This man was obviously very skilled at flirting with women, so even the inexperienced Renee was carried away by her passion, overcoming her hatred. But the thought that this man had used so many women to satisfy his arrogance and power made Renee feel disgusted, and suddenly there was a power within hee to push the man away, and slap him with all her might.
The atmosphere in the club was very quiet. Incredibly quiet. Even the frenzied music stopped as everyone stopped doing their activities and stared at Renee, who was standing panting against the petrified Sean sitting on his VIP sofa.
A second later, a rough hand gripped Renee's arm, so painful that it made Renee scream,
"How insolent you are! You dare hit Mr. Sean!" shouted a heavy and harsh voice. Renee turned her head and found herself being bent by a large man who seemed to be one of Sean's bodyguards.
The man's big, strong arms held her until her hands felt stiff and sore. But Renee didn't give up, she struggled with all her strength, clawing, biting on the arm that remained rock hard. Her breath was panting and her face was red with anger and shame because as a woman her strength was so powerless to withstand the domination of male power.
"Let her go." Sean's cold voice rang out in the silence.
The people were still waiting, concentrating on what the notorious man was going to do to the woman who dared to slap him.
At that instant, Sean's burly bodyguard let Renee go, almost knocking her out from the exhaustion of struggling. They stood face to face in the eyes of the many waiting people. Sean, who was still standing with a cold expressionless face, rubbed his cheek, the mark of Renee's slap.
"How much is yours?" Sean's voice was calm and cold.
Renee' eyes widened. What? What is this guy talking about? Her eyes darted to the glass Sean had poisoned on the table. Everything fell apart, she exclaimed holding back her frustration with herself. All because she couldn't contain her hatred. When Sean was harassing her she should be able to hold back and pretend to be an easy girl, she should be willing to sacrifice to hold back her feelings. At least when she obliged, Sean would probably be pleased and caught off guard, drink his drink and die. But now all is already too late.
Sean seemed no longer interested in his drink and was completely attracted to Renee. After all, Renee couldn't pretend to like Sean, her hatred for him was too deep.
Rose, the belle of this bar, approached Sean with a seductive gaze, she was the one Sean chose to accompany him drinking when Sean visited, and now her heart was filled with jealousy because Sean seemed so attracted to the new girl. Even if she look at the beauty, the new kid is much uglier than her.
"Never mind, Sean." Rose touched her hand on the collar of Sean's shirt. "That ugly woman will not be able to satisfy you, better let me accompany ... ouch!"
Rose moaned because Sean grabbed her hand that touched Sean's collar. Sean's fingers gripped her with an unbearable force, hurting her to the point of piercing her bones.
"Get off," muttered Sean with a murderous look at Rose, then threw Rose's hand roughly so that her body was pushed away. While grimacing in pain, she quickly walked away.
"Now then." Sean focused his cold eyes back on Renee. "Tell me how much yours is and I'll pay you."
I must have this girl, Sean decided to himself, I have to have her right away.
God knows he's been trying to save this woman. But somehow this one woman had such a strong determination to harm him, that she forgot that she had challenged the most dangerous man.
Sean's eyes glanced at the glass Renee had placed on his desk, he knew he was poisoned. Renee was too inexperienced in her first attempt at killing people. Her hands were shaking and her eyes were nervous, repeatedly glancing at the drink glass. And also that ridiculous fake name. Renee didn't even notice that her cover had been exposed from the start.
In fact Sean had decided to laugh at Renee in secret, pretending to drink the poisoned drink. But those lush lips and Renee's incredibly sexy appearance brought out a demonic side within him, a thirsty devil side. Maybe it's time this woman received a lesson for her recklessness.
The pandan aroma from the porridge made Renee's appetite increase. It's different with Sean, he's not at all interested in hospital food, he just wants Cael back. Sean stared at his wife, who was eating hungrily. He wondered how his wife could eat peacefully when her son had not yet returned. "You don't think about Cael at all? I just don't have the appetite to eat here," said Sean. Renee gave Sean a sneer, what did he mean by saying something like that? Though Renee wanted to get well soon and looked for her child. Renee sighed in annoyance then put down her spoon roughly and put the porridge on the nightstand. Really, she didn't like it when Sean was childish. At least Renee had tried to report their missing child to the police. Then what else did Sean want? Currently, Renee is having a hard time walking, her head is still very sore. She chose silence. She hated Sean right now… again, after a long time. "Are you
A large black car pulled up in front of the bus stop. Jasmine widened her eyes when she saw her mistress who had come. There was no one else at the stop apart from Damian and herself. Jasmine then hugged Cael tightly, not wanting to let Cael fall into the hands of the kidnapper in front of her. Jasmine immediately walked away, while the woman chased after her. Damian who saw that did not remain silent. He followed after those who were running. "Jasmine! Give the baby back!" shouted the woman. Jasmine didn't answer, she kept running. Damian didn't know what kind of situation this was. Could it be that Jasmine kidnapped that woman's baby? Damian ran while carrying Cael's baby bag that had been left at the stop. Damian ran so fast. He could catch up with her, grab her jacket, and then push the woman who was chasing Jasmine onto the sidewalk, knocking her over and unconscious. Damian tried to wake the unconscious woman, it turned out that sh
"Jasmine? Jasmine? JASMINE!" The woman looked around looking for Jasmine in all corners of her apartment, she did not find her. Her head is still very dizzy and doesn't know where to look for Jasmine. The babysitter with Cael isn't in her apartment. She closed her eyes and tried to calm down and stay positive. Maybe this morning she was drying Cael out. The woman chose to go into the room, drink plain water to soothe her throat that was heating up from alcohol and go back to sleep. Jasmine kept running while carrying Cael and
Sean blinked, the first time he felt the pain in his calf and knee. His previously blurry vision was now clear. He saw his hanging leg and to the side, Renee was having breakfast. “Renee?” called Sean quietly. His voice was hoarse because he had not drunk at all. “Sean? Are you awake?” Renee then got out of bed and gave Sean a drink. The infusion in Renee's hand was still stuck, but her condition had improved considerably. Nothing serious happened to her, only a small tear in the brow. Renee then pressed the button next to the nightstand, to call the doctor and nurse. They came with equipment to check on Sean. “There is a slight crack in your shin, you should keep resting and don't go anywhere yet. Usually within a week to two weeks the crack will return to normal.” Sean nodded as the doctor explained to him. Now only the two of them i
The medicinal scent made Renee sigh; she tried to open her eyes slowly. The sound of the clock ticking filled her ears. Gradually she could hear the deep voice of someone speaking. Renee felt a chill on her nose; the oxygen-assisted breathing tube brought her back to her senses. She looked around, two police officers talking, they were talking about Sean and Renee having the accident and how the tragedy was. Renee felt dizzy, as she remembered Sean hit a big tree on the highway and after that Renee didn't remember anymore. Renee looked to the side, her husband lying helplessly. Sean who she loves. A brown bandage wrapped around Sean's leg and hung up. Who knows what happened to Sean's leg, Renee didn't know. The thirst in Renee's throat made the woman let out a groaning sound. One of the police officers who had been talking approached Renee. "How, ma'am? Are you awake? Are you feeling ill? Le
A year later ... Renee smiled for the umpteenth time. She turned to find Sean smiling back at her gently. His head lowered, his eyes shining with love on a year-old baby who is now soundly asleep in his wife's arms. They were in the city park, sitting in a chair facing right by the fountain. The cool air seemed to make Cael feel at home asleep even more. He curled deeper into Renee's arms, while Sean just chuckled when he saw him. “I can't believe he can sleep this soundly while there are many children's voices muttering here and there,” muttered Sean exasperatedly, his hand stroking the top of his little son's head. Cael stretched and muttered something, as if telling Sean to stop touching his head. Sean chuckled again. Renee chuckled. “He's a great sleeper.” A second later Renee lightly kissed the forehead of her very adorable child. Cael was a treasure to her; she loved Cael more than anyt
The party was an elegant feast, a gala dinner Sean and his business associates gave to the success of their latest project. Renee was there with Lia and other businesspersons’ wives, watching Sean who was across the room, chatting with his colleagues. Renee's heart skipped a beat. She's already counting on her calendar. Tonight she is free. And indeed her body condition has improved since almost two months of giving birth. Even so, Sean still didn't know that. Sean himself felt Renee watching him and his excitement rose. The tingling of sexual tension had stirred up among them as they had not made love for a long time. Sean waited patiently and restrained himself, even though it gradually frustrated him a little. The urge to hug Renee, feeling Renee give up in his arms was very strong. They haven't made love since that great statement of love. Sean was obsessed, wanting to show Renee how great love would be if both partners were open to loving each other. “Se
Renee was allowed to go home with Cael and Sean picked them up on time. The man did not change, remained so cold that Renee thought that what the nurse said at that time was just a lie or delusion. Sean sat next to Renee in the car quietly and stared at the window, seemingly distanced. “Are you, uh, okay?” Finally Sean broke the silence, glanced lightly at the sleeping Cael in Renee's arms, and his gaze softened. “He seems very healthy.” “He was suckling vigorously.” Renee smiled and kissed Cael on the forehead affectionately. At first Renee was a little afraid of Sean's reaction to Cael. The man hates Cael because when he was in Renee's womb, would that man hate Cael when he was born into this world? Sean seemed to love Cael, even though he didn't show it in words. Renee frequently caught sight of the gentleness that Sean gave Cael. Oh yes, Renee understands, Sean may not be able to escape showing his affection for young children, but Cael has stolen
Do not know how many hours the operation process was torturous and Sean sat there with his whole body tensed and in torment. Roger was still waiting there, while Lia had said goodbye, because her son needed her. Lia said she would come back tomorrow morning.Suddenly there was a baby crying. The baby's cry was very strong and loud, as if pumping all the air that was there into his lungs.Sean gasped and looked at Roger at each other, his body tense even more. Is that his son's voice?Suddenly the light flashed green and a nurse came out, calling out to him. “Mr. Sean Bramasta.”Sean was invited to enter the inner room in the operation preparation room, which became the divider between the waiting room and the operating room.“This is your son, Mr. Sean, we want to show you before he's taken to the baby room.”The baby was crying so hard, as if to protest why he was being taken from the comfortable warmth on his mother
