Chapter 16 [2-4]

I was able to make it to my dad’s house with thirty minutes to spare and I looked at the house before making my way towards the front entrance. I never bothered to ask for my own key so I rang the doorbell waiting for someone to allow me in and I smiled, seeing Lily being the one to greet me. Lily led me to the kitchen and I saw my dad putting on his jacket while talking on the phone; it must be a business call for their dinner. I couldn’t help looking at the fridge seeing new photos being held by a magnet and they were mostly of Ally.

“There’s food in the fridge if you get hungry,” He tells me as he puts away his phone and looks over at me. “Do you want cash to order pizza instead?”

I shook my head and looked away from the photos, “I’ll eat what there is here, don’t worry about it. What time are you thinking of coming back?” I asked.

“I think around eight is the latest,” He answered after checking the time.

“Okay,” I said, looking at my phone and it was barely four-o clock.
