“Were you always worried about that?”
“Yeah… Especially when I’m not having my good days because I feel like I’m not worth being around with or you’ll get fed up with me,” I told him and I sighed heavily. “I get fed up with myself sometimes.”
“If I was ever tired of it, as you call it, I would have left a long time ago.” He tells me.
I didn’t say anything as I listened to him and after some time I sat up as I moved closer to the waterfall. Elliot watched from where he sat as I leaned over to running my fingers through the water and stayed there for a while now a little lost in thought; it felt cool and refreshing as I moved my hand under the water. It was nice being able to talk through with him and just hearing his words as he tried to understand me. I glanced over at Elliot and he was still watching me before I went back over to him as I wondered a few things.

Elliot parked the car two houses down and I followed right beside him walking up to the house then followed the instruction on my phone to walk towards the backyard by cutting through the driveway. "What if they don’t want me around after that?” I ask him.“So? I always say it doesn’t matter what they think.” He tells me.I thought about this before I turned to him, “I know… I know and I understand what you mean, but I actually like them so to me it does matter what they think of me. They aren’t really the type of people I would hang out with before, but they let me be with them and invited me over to their home.” I explained. “Maybe I won’t see them after high school is over, but if they want me in their group for the time being and let me continue to be their friend then I’m okay with that.
