Chapter 3 Getback

I initially intended to accompany Alexandre to make his first appearance at the Dollarze conglomerate campaign welfare today but because of what he did I have changed my mind and I don't care what the consequences is, cause right now I'm so pissed and you know what, I think his girlfriend should accompany him to that campaign she should at least be useful, and whether he report it to my parents or not is none of my business, it's not like I'm the only daughter they had, they forced me into this because I'm the unloved stepdaughter.

As soon as I got into my room I angrily grabbed my car key and exit my room, I didn't stop walking till I got to where my car was parked outside, I got in and drove off, it's not like I have any fun place to go to, I'm just going over to my best friend's place to go vent out my anger cause right now I've never been so annoyed like I am at the moment.

I finally made it to my best friend's place, came down from the car and made my way into her apartment, 

“Damn girl, what's up with that expression?” Ginny asked as soon as she saw me, I sighed and slumped down on the couch, while she dried her hand on the towel as she approached me, 

“What happened? You don't look good” She asked and sat beside me with a worried expression 

“I don't know Ginny, this contract shit might be harder than I thought”

“Really? I thought you promised to stay out of his business till the contract period is over”

“Of course girl, I was doing well in avoiding him, but his damn girlfriend is beginning to get on my nerves, imagine the bitch fucking frame me up this morning and the most annoying part is that Alexandre did not even ask what happened, he straight up sided with her” 

“That's crazy, but it's expected given that what you have with him is transactional and they have been dating for a long time, I think the best is to avoid the both of them regardless of what the problem is, trust me if anything goes wrong your stepmom will finally have the opportunity to erase your name from the family Will and you can't let that happen”

“Of course not, everything my so called family is enjoying today is my late mother's sweat and blood they can never erase my name when I'm the heir to my mother's asset, they know better than to try that, as for this marriage I'll make it work, you don't have to worry” 

“That's my best friend” Ginny tickled me, my lips curved into a smiled and I just realized that I just smiled after a long time,

“I'm making Pasta hope you're eating” 

“Of course I'm starving” I pouted,

“Come here” She dragged me as the both of us proceeded to the kitchen.

I ended up spending the rest of the day at Ginny’s house. Alexandre blew up my phone the whole day till I switched on the DO NOT DISTURB button, and honestly that's the best revenge for what he did to me today, I've never felt this fulfilled in my entire life. 

I drove back and as I walked into the house, the first person I saw was Alexandre who was pacing back and forth like an angry lion, 

“What the fuck was the meaning of the stunt you pulled today, do you know how disappointing you fucking made me feel I've never been this embarrassed in my entire life!” He roared in anger, and it's crazy cause I wasn't even fazed, if he could go low I could go lower, 

I folded my hands just blankly staring at him

“Angelica Montez, you know so damn well I'm speaking to you right now”

“I'm listening, what do you want me to do? Go on my knees and beg you?”

“Okay, I get it, this how you want it right” He nodded his head like he's already planning his comeback 

“I don't care, I give you what you dish out to me, if you can't take it then go cry to your girlfriend, I didn't show up to your campaign, you have a girlfriend she should have made herself useful”

He glared at me like he would squeeze me if he could, 

“Don't forget I can break this contract whenever I want to” 

I shrugged 

“It's fine, we are both going to suffer from it”

“I see, you better get ready cause my comeback won't be funny” He pointed to my face, and kicked the table by the side as he stormed 

“Where are you going….?!”

“None of your business…!” He yelled back

“Wait, it's late, are you not coming back home?” 

He didn't answer me and left. I happily made my way upstairs to my room cause I could care less if he comes back or not.

That evening I ended up ordering chicken pizza, which I had with a bottle of soda, I waited for Alexandre to come back but he didn't, it was almost 12:00 AM 

Since it's my first time sleeping alone in this mansion I decided to change the door password before going to bed because of security.

Two hours later I was already deep into sleep when the constant blaring sound of my phone woke me up, I sleepily searched around the bed and finally found my phone, it was 2AM in the morning and Alexandre was calling nonstop, I knew he was back and that was the only reason he's calling, 

I decided to look out through the window, only to see him standing and hugging his girlfriend while the annoying bitch was the one holding his phone and dialing my number, 

I could have gone out and opened the door for him, but since the both of them are together, it wouldn't be bad for them to make love outside, at least the cold would be the witness of their love.

I angrily closed my curtain, my phone was ringing when I angrily turned it off and laid down on the bed
