Lavina – POV

My unexpected mate bond with Archer has left me utterly stunned. The idea that a Dragon and a Wolf could be mates was beyond my wildest dreams. Seeing Archer's distressed expression as he hurried out of the room, surrounded by a dangerous aura, filled me with concern. "Archer, where are you going?" I called out, my voice laced with worry. He paused at the door, turning to meet my eyes with a serious look.

"Lavina, there's something urgent I need to handle. We'll discuss this later," Archer explained before leaving. Alice immediately came to my side, offering her support as I felt my strength wane.

"What's happening?" I inquired, seeking answers from Alice.

"You need to rest now," she gently insisted, guiding me back to bed. James and Leo watched over me with concerned eyes.

"But I need to understand what's going on," I pressed, attempting to sound firm despite the weakness in my voice. Alice met my gaze, hesitating before she spoke.

"You were caught in a Nightmare spell.
