"Please, Archer, don't hit him yet," I urged, as Archer charged forward with lightning speed. It was too late; he landed a decisive blow on Keenan, sending him staggering backward. Keenan managed to block the next attack, narrowly avoiding another hit. James intervened, using his magic to pull Archer away and halt the assault.

Archer was seething with anger. "Keenan is a deceitful bastard. He must have known what he was doing to Lavina," he spat out, furious. "And now, he's shifting the blame onto Veronica, his current wife, to save his skin."

"Let's hear Keenan out before we make any judgments," James cautioned, trying to diffuse the situation. But Archer was not easily swayed, his anger palpable.

"Let me go, you jerk," Archer snapped at James, who was restraining him with magic. Reluctantly, James released him. Keenan rose to his feet, glaring at Archer. James quickly ensured that the confrontation didn't escalate further, but tensions were high, and it wasn't long befo
