Chapter 67: The Old Painting

King Edgar Barnabas looked at Edmund's face curiously. From a very long time ago, he was a reliable trader and liked to collect antiques. Sometimes he came to black-market auctions to hunt for rare items that were considered lost and destroyed in Magica. Since Edmund's appearance, he had felt that Duke Brighton's face was very familiar, even though he could say this was the first time they had met.

"Is there anything you want to say to me, Your Majesty?" asked Edmund, noticing as King Edgar Barnabas kept his eyes fixed on his face. He had tried to ignore it, but King Edgar's gaze was so deep and it made Edmund felt uncomfortable from being stared constantly by the king.

“Uhm, I beg your pardon?” asked King Edgar Barnabas.

“It seems that you have something in your mind, Your Majesty. Do you mind if I ask?” asked Edmund tried to rephrase his previous question.
