Alexandra’s POV

The living room felt bright and airy, sunlight pouring through the wide windows and spreading across the pale floors. Shelves lined with little plants and books gave the space a calm, lived-in feel, the soft rug pulling it all together. But it was not what shocked me. I froze when my gaze stopped on the sofa, where—Xavier sat layed back, eyes closed, lips parted as soft moan escaped his lips. His hands were tangled in the beautiful golden hair of...not Christine... knelt on the carpet with his mouth wrapped around Xavier was a guy. I could only see his broad shoulders and strong back moving to narrow waist and beautiful golden locks short, but long enough to be pulled by fingers. My stomach twisted, and my breath stuck halfway, as if my mind couldn’t quite process what my eyes were seeing.

I felt ashamed and shoked, and heat rushed to my cheeks. My palms grew clammy, and I bit my lip not to gasp and wanted to leave quickly unnoticed

Laura's POV “Alyssa, can you help me, please?” I asked with a smug smile. “What can I do for you, Luna?” she asked politely, but without enthusiasm. “I’m preparing a surprise for Nick and need your input,” I said. “Luna, I guess you know what’s best for your mate. You don’t need my opinion,” she said casually. This bitch had a nerve. I wanted to snap, but I took a deep breath and said softly, “Alyssa, we’re not enemies. We both know how much Nick values you. We should work together to make him happy.” She gave me a plastered smile. Omega brought us a tray with sparkling wine, and while Alyssa wasn’t looking, she motioned to one glass. I took the glass Omega indicated and passed it to Alyssa, keeping another for myself. “Cheers to friendship and a bright future,” I said loudly — and thought, bright future, at least for me. She would be dead in less than an hour.

Alexandra's POV We were sipping coffee nervously when Arabella and Joe walked in together. Arabella kissed my cheek and made herself comfortable in the seat next to me. "I’m sorry, Alex, for that late-night call," Arabella said. "Leo went crazy, saying you were in danger and that he needed to speak to you right away. I'm not sure since when he became a seer," she joked lightly, "but he claimed that even though our bond is strenghtening, he still has the fainted bond with you and wants to protect you." Joe’s eyes widened. "I felt the same—that you were in danger. I couldn’t rest. Images of you running through the woods, hunted by rogues, kept flashing in my dreams." This time, my own eyes widened because he described exactly what I had seen. My chest tightened as if invisible hands were squeezing the air out of me. "Did you see the woman’s face in your dream? Are you sure it was me?" I asked, my voice a little shaky. "The woman?" Joe frowned, puzzled. "I didn’t see your face, bu

Alexandra’s POV I woke up before the sun and couldn’t fall back asleep. “Let’s train,” Eilyul urged eagerly, and we went into the woods nearby to practice powers. Beaming with joy over my achievements, even before showering, the first thing I did was text Sebastian: "Good morning, my love". But there was no reply. We always wished each other good morning. He was supposed to be awake already and heading to meetings, yet even by the time I was dressed and driving to the university, there was still nothing. His silence was unusual. Disturbing. As I stepped into the entrance of my art school, the slit of my peach-colored dress brushed against my leg. Marco’s gaze found me instantly. He let out a low breath and murmured, “You look breathtaking,” and heat rushed to my cheeks. Maybe Sebastian was right… Maybe Marco wanted more than friendship? “Of course, he does,” Eilyul muttered. “You’re too naive. Sometimes,

Alexandra’s POVMy body was relaxed and satisfied after the steamy session with Sebastian, but I still pushed myself to shower before slipping into my pyjamas and climbing under the covers. It amazed me how he could keep driving me insane, burning with pleasure even from a distance. He kept surprising me.My phone buzzed, and I picked it up with a smile, expecting a message from Sebastian. But it was Samantha:“Sis, Alpha agreed to let us go on a staycation for three days. Gamma Den will stay in charge for two days before Alpha gets back. Julian and I are leaving tomorrow morning. See you soon. Love you.”“Enjoy your staycation. Love you too,” I replied. Samantha really deserved some time away with her mate.I thought about proposing to Sebastian that we take a short honeymoon after the Luna ceremony. The thought of soon becoming his official mate made me smile wide.I closed my eyes, and images of Sebastian flashed in fron

Sebastian’s POV The hotel door clicked shut, swallowing the noise of the city outside. I dropped my laptop bag onto the desk and tugged my tie loose, rolling my shoulders. The meetings were successful—contracts moving in my favour, Nicolas still scrambling, trying too hard—but none of it mattered the second I was alone. What I craved wasn’t another win. It was Alex. The suit felt suffocating, so I stripped it off and headed straight for the shower. Hot water beat against my skin, washing away the stench of boardrooms and the weight of handshakes I didn’t care about. But it couldn’t wash away the hollow ache of being away from her. When I finally stepped out, I tied a towel low around my waist and walked straight to the bed. The room was too quiet, too cold without Alexandra. I reached for my phone like a man needing air. "How was your day, my lovely kitten
