Chapter 2: Torn Between Love, Duty and Desire

Leo’s POV

I returned from my date with my mate and immediately had to take a cold shower. These days, my hormones were playing tricks on me, I felt constantly on edge, always wanting her, and it was getting harder to compose myself around Lexy.

“Just three more days, and she’ll be ours,” my wolf, Orion, murmured.

He was right. Only three days left. Still, I was restless, tossing and turning all night, imagining Lexy’s plump lips, her small perky breasts, and those beautiful emerald eyes always looking at me with love and adoration.

Morning came with a sharp mindlink from my dad: “I need you in my study. Now.”

As always, straight to business. He was known as a ruthless and strong Alpha, but he always put the pack first.

I dressed quickly in jeans and a white T-shirt, and, still half-asleep, went to meet my dad.

He was already in a suit, buried in paperwork.

“Hi, Leo,” he muttered without looking up from the documents.

“Good morning, Dad. What’s so urgent this early?” I asked, running a hand through my blond hair.

“The Alpha of the High Mountain Pack will arrive soon with his daughter,” he said sternly.

“So, do you want me to greet them and give them a tour?” I asked, surprised, since that was usually the Beta’s duty.

“Yes and no,” he replied, pausing as though searching for the right words. Then he dropped a bomb: “I want Mirabel to be your chosen mate.”

“What?” I shouted in disbelief.

“Mirabel is Alpha Caleb’s only daughter, his heir. The union would double our lands and pack numbers. I won’t even get into the financial benefits. Their pack is far wealthier than ours. Plus, Mirabel is beautiful and has been trained her entire life to be Luna. I’m not accepting ‘no’ as an answer—I’ve already agreed.”

Orion roared furiously in my head.

“I already have a fated mate!”

“Don’t growl at me, pup!” my dad snapped, his voice rising. “A fated mate? That wolfless outcast girl? Do you really think she can be Luna? She’s useless!”

“I believe in the Moon Goddess’s choice,” I said firmly, standing my ground.

“You also believed in Santa Claus and Pokémon when you were five,” he shot back. “Now you’re an adult, about to be Alpha in three days. You have a pack and responsibilities. Think about the pack, not your feelings. I’m not telling you to reject your fated mate. Keep her, pay for her art school, let her paint, give her pups—but make Mirabel your Luna. She’ll bring you respect, power, and strong heirs.”

“But that’s wrong. I can’t do that to Lexy,” I said, frustration rising in my chest.

“Grow up, or I won’t hand over the pack to you!” my dad roared, slamming his fist on the table.

His eyes glazed over with a mindlink.

“They’ve arrived. Let’s go. And no stunts.”

We walked to the living room of the pack house. The Beta couple had already greeted our guests, and the Omegas were serving refreshments.

I greeted Alpha Caleb, a tall, broad-shouldered man in his forties, but my eyes locked on Mirabel.

She was tall, with an hourglass figure, wearing a short blue bodycon dress that clung to every curve. She wasn’t wearing a bra, and her large breasts stood firm, her nipples visible through the fabric. Her long brown hair was pulled into a high ponytail, and her vivid blue eyes watched me with curiosity and interest. She was sipping tea, nibbling on a pastry.

When she noticed me, she licked a bit of cream from her finger—slowly, deliberately with her gaze never leaving mine. My eyes darted to her plump lips, still glistening with cream, and I cursed inwardly when I felt myself stir. Orion growled in my mind. Stupid hormones. I forced myself to get it together.

“Leo, this is Mirabel. I’d like you two to get to know each other,” my dad said, gesturing for me to step closer.

“Oh, I’m sure we’ll get along just fine,” Mirabel purred.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mirabel. I’d love to chat later, but I have training now,” I muttered, noticing my dad’s displeased glare before I turned and walked out.

I shifted into Orion and ran, pounding my paws against the ground as fast as I could, trying to clear my head. The cool wind rushed through my fur, and slowly my nerves began to settle.

After the run, warm water streaming around my body relaxed me, and an idea popped into my mind. What if Mirabel, not me, decided to cancel the agreement? I just needed to give her the cold shoulder and scare her away.

I dried myself and left the bathroom wrapped in a fluffy towel.

My eyes widened when I saw Mirabel lying on my bed. She sat up, swinging her legs, but not before I caught a glimpse that she wasn’t wearing any panties.

“Leo, your dad asked us to get familiar with each other, so I came to chat,” she purred, slowly moving toward me, swaying her hips.

“I’ll come to the lounge once I’m dressed. Wait for me there,” I said sternly.

Mirabel slid her hand across my chest, moving dangerously low with a seductive smile. My heart started pounding in my chest. I wanted her gone, but her touch felt maddeningly good.

“Oh, Leo,” she pouted, her hand gripping my growing erection, “but I can feel that you don’t want me to leave.”

“KICK HER OUT NOW”, Orion screamed in my head.

Mirabel sank to her knees, and in one swift motion, my towel was gone.

“I want to taste you, Alpha,” she whispered seductively, licking the tip of my cock.

I shuddered in pleasure as her tongue swirled along my full length.

Orion clawed at me, trying to take control, but I blocked him. I couldn’t fight the desire, my mind was clouded as it was my first sex and the pleasure was overwhelming. Mirabel slowly took all of me into her mouth, sucking like her life depended on it.

I was lost in the sensation. I grabbed her hair, thrusting into her mouth, fast and deep, hitting her throat. She gagged but didn’t pull away. I roared and spilled my load into her mouth.

Mirabel smiled, triumphant, pushing me onto the bed. “I need you. I want to feel your big cock inside me.”

I was hard again, dizzy with scent, sweat, arousal. Lexy’s face haunted me, yet I didn’t pull away. Not from this. Not from the temptation of power, pleasure, and control.

She hiked her dress, hips swaying like a promise. “I’m so wet… ready for you, Alpha. Please…”

I spanked her, entered her in one swift, hard motion.

And in that moment, I knew: I hadn’t just betrayed Lexy. I’d given in to lust, desire, and greed. I was doomed—and I wanted it.

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 163: It Is a Girl

Alexandra’s POV“I am sorry, kitten,” muttered Sebastian, lying in the bed next to me and kissing my cheek. “I lost count of time.”His mouth moved to my jaw. “Now I am ready for some promised fun.”I giggled and whispered, “I will be back in a minute.”I used the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and combed my hair.“Now I am going—” I said in a sultry voice, approaching the bed and swaying my hips, but I did not finish the sentence as Sebastian was already asleep.I sighed and pulled the covers over him. He was exhausted. The doctor’s appointment was in two hours. I got dressed and went to paint on the balcony.I lost track of time, pulled fully into the world of paint and brushes.“Beautiful painting,” Sebastian startled me.I turned to find him standing at the balcony door in jeans and a simple black t-shirt, barefoot, holding a cup of coffee. His messy brown hair shone under the sunlight, accompanied by a wild grin.Irresistible. Gorgeous. Mine.My heart clenched. He would not be mine

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 162: The Weight of Hope

Alexandra’s POVSebastian's warm embrace—his support and the way he suppressed his fury just to comfort me—completely undid me. I leaned into his chest and began to sob quietly. It wasn't the loud, dramatic kind of crying; it was that exhausted, shaky breath you take when you're finally done holding it all together. Watching him scramble for answers hurt more than the curse itself. He was looking for a door to open, and all I could see was a brick wall."I’m sorry, I’m so sorry... I just didn't want to upset you. I wanted to enjoy my last few months with you," I mumbled into his shirt. He brushed my tears away with his finger and kissed my eyelids. "We will find a way to break this curse, Alex. Everything is going to be alright."I smiled and kissed him gently. I didn't want to object or argue with him. Deep down, I already knew I had lost this battle before it even began. This curse wasn't something that could be broken by sheer will, but I couldn't bring myself to crush his spirit.

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 161: The Ticking Clock

Sebastian's POV I was sitting in my study with Julian, reviewing new product proposals and some pack documents.Hours passed, the Omega arrived with snacks and drinks—we had worked straight through breakfast and lunch today. I closed the folders, rubbing the bridge of my nose before piling a plate high with sandwiches.“How is mated life, Alpha?” Julian asked with a wicked grin.“I feel bad that I’ve been buried in work these past weeks and haven't taken Alex on a honeymoon. We’ll definitely go after the birth. Otherwise, everything feels right… like she’s always been mine. However, Alex has started to act differently. I’m assuming it’s the pregnancy hormones,” I replied.Julian rolled his eyes. “Tell me about it. Samantha is always moody—craving weird food, crying one second and smiling the next. She's insatiable, too.”“No… It's not that. Alexandra acts like she’s hungry to live. She’s painting all night when inspiration hits, trying new classes, and picking up strange hobbies. On

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 160: No Regrets

Alexandra's POV Sebastian wanted to cancel the pack run since I couldn't shift due to the pregnancy, but I was the one who insisted on the traditional mating ceremony, so I wanted everything to be in order. I didn't want to kill the joy; the pack run means everything to werewolves.Since Samantha and Arabella couldn’t shift either, they stayed back with me while the pack ran, led by Sebastian. They were busy cracking jokes when a cloud of stardust suddenly appeared, and Marco and Briana stepped out of the haze.I could see a fresh mating mark on Briana’s neck and a glow of pure happiness in her eyes. Marco had a mark too, but his face didn't share that joy.“Congratulations on your mating!” I cheered. Briana beamed at me. “Thank you. And congratulations to you too, Luna Alexandra.”“Aim higher,” Arabella joked. “She’s a Crown Princess now.”“So is Brie,” Marco muttered. His words sounded like a cold statement of fact—no pride, no affection.“Alex, can I have a moment?” he asked. I no

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 159: One Blood, One Soul

Alexandra’s POV "Are you ready?" my dad asked, stepping into the room. His voice had a roughness to it I wasn't used to—a hint of real emotion that made my chest tighten. I turned slightly, glancing at my reflection. For a second, I didn't recognise the girl in the mirror. I watched the way the translucent layers of the skirt floated like a mist around me, looking so fragile, yet so intentional. My snow-white skin and vibrant ginger curls stood out against the warm, flowing fabric of the gown, and my emerald eyes looked wider, darker, reflecting a moment of quiet, terrified contemplation. The delicate tulle layers of the skirt seemed to glow from within, catching every flicker of light as if woven from stardust. I never wanted a big wedding gown. But Samantha had insisted, and looking at this ethereal masterpiece of champagne tulle, I was glad she did. The structured corset held me upright when my legs felt like lead, and the shimmering beadwork at my neckline felt like a suit

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 158: Joy on Borrowed Time

Alexandra’s POVMy mating ceremony was the next day and I was getting ready. Before I felt it was not a big deal, something that was bound to happen anyway, but now I decided to treasure this event, to slow down and feel every second of it, as I did not know how many more times I would have this experience with my mate. Lately, happiness felt fragile, like glass—beautiful, but one wrong move away from shattering. We agreed with Sebastian to announce the baby during the mating ceremony. It felt right, hopeful, like claiming life even when fate was trying to steal it from me.But Sebastian cancelled all his meetings and was just roaming around me, comforting me like a mother hen. His presence was constant, grounding, yet it carried an edge of worry he couldn’t fully hide. Every time I moved, his gaze followed, as if he feared the world itself might take me from him if he blinked.“What did bite Alpha today?” asked Samantha. “He is acting strangely. I know he is excited about tomorrow,
