Sebastian’s POV

I never knew Alexandra was such an excellent actress. I even noticed a flicker of jealousy in her eyes. A fantastic performance. I could still taste Cristine’s lips, and my body hummed with excitement after holding her again. I felt that soon she would come back to me—and stay forever. To make that happen, we needed our ruse to continue.

I released Cristine and moved toward Alexandra. “Kitten, it's not what you think.”

Alexandra didn’t respond. Her lips parted, but no sound came out. She stared at me as though seeing me for the first time.

I approached and enveloped her in a hug. Whispering softly, “Well done. Perfect jealousy scene. Our plan is working perfectly.”

She looked at me silently as I guided her from the terrace back inside. Alexandra remained strangely quiet.

Suddenly, she pleaded, “Sebastian, can I go?”

I looked at her in surprise. “Not I—but we. I think we made quite an appearance today. Le

Mirabel's POV My bank account balance was dangerously low—$1,765 to be exact. I had a budget of $5,000 for the month, and I had almost spent it all in one day. And I hadn’t even bought a single outfit. It was evening, and I wore a knee-length tight bodycon dress with a low cleavage. High heels, a small bag, and I was ready to hunt. Definitely not for deer. I entered one of the fanciest bars in town. I could feel alphas’ auras all around me, and so many eyes were on me. But together with lust, their gazes held uncovered disgust. I expected them to fight for my attention, to beg me for a drink with them, but no one was paying attention to me. I huffed, disappointed, and sat at the bar, sipping my champagne. It looked like my plan had failed, and I would remain in my misery for longer. Suddenly, I felt

I was terrified of my new tattoo suddenly appearing again out of nowhere. Sebastian promised to take me to a powerful witch tomorrow. The thought of finally knowing the answers was both thrilling and undeniably scary. What if it was something bad? Evil? The trail of my thoughts was interrupted by Sebastian, who was driving us to the yacht party.“Did you notice anything change once you got your tattoos?”I thought for a moment before replying.“I started to notice my senses improving. I can see farther, I have perfect night vision. I can hear whispers from far away, and I can smell faint scents I wasn’t able to catch before.”He sighed. “My lycan also said he can feel your spirit’s presence more. Before, it was so faint—like she was a ghost—but now her presence is stronger, clearer.”He squeezed my hand gently to comfort me. “Do not worry, kitten. We’ll figure everything out. In the meantime, stay with me in thd hotel. I don’t want you pas

Sebastian’s POV Alexandra looked heartbreakingly beautiful when she slept—peaceful, relaxed, innocent. A stray lock of hair had fallen across her face; I brushed it aside. She stirred, her eyes fluttering open. Her gaze swept the ceiling, then darted to the right with a gasp. When she finally turned left and saw me, she jolted so hard she nearly toppled off the bed. She yanked the covers up to her chin, breathing fast. “What are you doing in my bed?” I smirked. “It’s my bed. You’re in my hotel room.” Suspicion lingered in her eyes, but when she peeked under the covers and saw she was still in last night’s bodycon dress, her shoulders eased. “It’s not what you think. Do you remember anything?” I asked. Her brow furrowed. “I texted you a photo of that message on my wall—asked if you knew who could be behind it—and you never replied.” “I didn’t reply,” I explaine

Leo’s POV Freedom tasted sweet. The moment I held the signed divorce papers from Mirabel, it was as if heavy chains had fallen from my shoulders. I could finally breathe, move… live. Now, all I needed was to win Lexy back—and I’d be the happiest man alive. Blake wagged his tail eagerly, sensing where we were headed. He wanted to see Lexy as much as I did. This time, I wasn’t going to waste another moment—I would court her properly and, when the time was right, propose. Of course, the prince was a thorn in my side. But my father was right—he was a womanizer, never staying with the same woman for long. I checked the mirror one last time—blond hair perfectly styled, my shirt fitting snug over my muscles, the deep blue fabric making my eyes stand out. I grabbed a huge bouquet of roses and a wrapped jewellery box before heading for her apartment. The door was ajar. Unease flickered through me, but I stepped inside

Alexandra POVSebastian’s hand was wrapped around mine as we stepped out of the coffee shop. I knew his affectionate gestures were only part of our act, but somehow, his touch still seeped past my guard, warming something deep inside me. I had morning meetings lined up, and this unplanned coffee break with him had been both unexpected and surprisingly pleasant. We were no longer just partners in some elaborate ruse—we were beginning to feel like friends. Before we went our separate ways, he pulled me into a warm hug and brushed a soft kiss against my cheek."I had a great time today. Don’t forget about the party tomorrow. I’ll collect you at one," he said, his voice low and warm."I’ll try not to forget," I teased, a small smile tugging at my lips. "See you tomorrow."I turned toward my car, yet my heart lingered behind, reluctant to leave his company. I was starting to enjoy the moments I spent with Sebastian—more than I cared to ad

Mirabel’s POV Sipping my coffee in a small local café, I watched people outside flooding the streets, faces expressionless like robots, hurrying to their jobs. The rain was slowly pattering outside, and everything looked dull like a huge mass of people in similar grey business suits. The thought of work twisted my face into a disgusting grimace and brought back a memory. With Omegas carrying my luggage, I entered my family home. Divorced, disgraced, I had to return to look for sanctuary under the wing of my father and stepmother. I wasn’t pleased about it. Hinestly, I had no desire to leave again, fully controlled, and play a happy family again. But I had absolutely no choice. My father met me at the entrance, looking even less pleased. His chest was rising, his breathin
