Mirabel's POV

I opened Nick's study door thrilled. He just lifted his gaze for a second from the paperwork and immediately went back to reviewing the document. It did not darken my mood. I came to be nice to him, to please him so I could ask to start preparations for my Luna ceremony.

I sat on his table, giving him a proper few of my long legs covered just by tiny skirt and a little bit parting them just to flash that I had no panties on.

"Daddy," I whispered with an alluring voice, "I miss you. I was craving your touch all day."

He lifted his eyes, intrigued, "So what do you want me to do?" He hoarsed.

I leaned forward to his ear, parting my legs wider, "Play with me. Ruin me. Do with me whatever you want. "

He narrowed his eyes, licking his lips, "Are you sure whatever I want?"

Alexandra’s POVArabella was already with Samantha, waiting for me in my drawing-slash-dancing studio. But before I could reach them, Sebastian caught me by the waist from behind and pulled me against him.The heat of his body, the feel of his strong chest pressed against mine, made my head spin. His hot breath brushed my ear, and my knees nearly buckled.Sebastian whispered huskily, “Who promised me plenty of private time after her discharge and now is running away? Huh?”I teased him, “I never took you for a clingy guy.”He laughed. “I think you should be punished for your sharp tongue.”I swallowed hard. In the twirl of my imagination, punishment looked like ass smacking or something of the sort. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it.To my surprise, Sebastian shoved me onto the bed, straddled me, and started mercilessly tickling me.I thrashed, laughing at the top of my lungs, feeling like I was about to ex

Sebastian’s POVI sank into my office chair, clenching my fists.“Julian, how is this even possible? No witnesses, nothing on the camera footage. I even damn it, alpha-commanded the whole pack, and nobody touched Alex’s car. It’s like a ghost damaged her brakes.”Julian shook his head, confused. “I have no idea. But it looks like the same person is targeting her.”“We are one of the largest and most powerful packs—if not the most powerful—and someone can still easily cross our borders to try to kill our future Luna.” I gritted my teeth. “Well, our defence system is shit in this case.”Julian glanced at me apologetically. We had great warriors and the latest technology, and still, it wasn’t enough.“Look for the loops in our defence system and fix them,” I barked. “I’ll find the culprit.”Julian nodded, agreeing with the plan.“Alpha, Luna is awake,” came a mindlink from the doc

Sebastian’s POV I grabbed Dr. Andrews, shaking from the fear of losing Alexandra. “Luna is stable. She is sleeping under sedative medicine, badly injured, but not life-threatening.” I exhaled in relief, and the doctor whispered, “It is the first case in my practice. She is wolfless but healing with werewolf speed. Luna is very strong.” My lycan growled proudly, liking that the doctor referred to Alexandra as Luna and complimented her. “May I see her?” I asked, and the doctor nodded, leading me to her hospital ward. My heart clenched to see Alexandra lying on the hospital bed, fragile and vulnerable. Her face was swollen, her body bruised and full of cuts. She breathed softly in her deep sleep. I removed a strand of hair from her face and pressed my lips to her cheek. “You will be awake soon, and I will

Sebastian's POV What the hell happened to Alexandra? One moment, she was melting under my touch, and the next, she was cold as ice, later looking like she was about to break into tears. I decided to let her cool down and talk to her in the morning. I tossed and turned in bed, unused to her not being next to me. The memory of her warm, soft body, her moans, the scent of her arousal, did not let me go. After a sleepless night, it was time to get ready and start my duties. Finally, my favourite redhead peeked into the room. "I came to get my things to change. Going to the city now," she said casually, as if she weren’t the one who had left me confused, high, and dry yesterday. "Kitten, what’s wrong?" I asked, closing the distance between us. She stepped back, trying to keep her distance. "Nothing, just… busy with my work. Going to a couple of meetings," she replied, avoiding eye con

Alexandra’s POV I could sense Sebastian’s release when I woke him. I knew he felt embarrassed, so I rushed out to give him space and also let him get ready since Samantha and Julian were waiting for us in the lounge, ready to go. I truly admired Sebastian’s control—his loyalty to Christine. He hadn’t strayed, despite the fact that she had been intimate with Xavier. Still, I was craving his touch, dreaming of his lips on mine, but it couldn’t happen. I wasn’t a substitute, and his heart belonged to another. Samantha whistled as soon as I entered the lounge. “Look at you, sexy as hell.” I blushed. For the night out, I wore a short strapless black bodycon dress with black high heels, leaving my curls loose and adding mascara with a touch of cherry lipstick. I giggled, hugged Samantha, and quickly changed the topic. “How’s my niece or nephew doing?” She placed a hand on her still-flat stomach.
