Sebastian's POV

After the funeral, everyone slowly started to move toward their cars. Alexandra was catching up with Alpha Leonardo, and I noticed Laura finally without her fiancé.

"May I have a word with you?" I asked, moving a little bit away from the crowd to the shade of a large oak.

"Of course, brother," she said softly, following me.

"Are you sure about your marriage?" I asked, crossing my arms.

She looked at me with the most innocent gaze, mumbling, "Nick and I are truly happy together, and we both want this marriage."

"But it is so rushed. You don’t know him well, and you just turned eighteen a few months ago. Your true mate is still waiting for you. And Alpha Nicolas is almost triple your age," I tried to put sense into her.

"Stop, just stop," she hissed. "I am not a baby. I chose Nick because he is strong, capable, and smart. He possesses everything I want in a man. And age is just a

Sebastian’s POV “Where are we going?” pouted Alexandra, pretending displeasure to crack me into spilling the plan. “You’ll see,” I said, placing my hand on her hip. She gasped when my hand moved higher, caressing her thigh. My little kitten was becoming greedy, craving my touch, the pleasure I was giving her. But today, my plan was about something different. It was the weekend and I took her out to have fun together. The morning sun was gentle, gold stroking the edges of the sky as I started the car. Alexandra's hair caught light when she stretched, her lips curved in that soft, anticipatory smile only she had. Music played low on the radio—old it was still sweet—and every turn of the road felt like promise. I glanced over, saw her eyes bright, cheeks flushed with expectation. A butterfly of excitement in her belly mirrored mine. The moment I stopped the car, her eyes lit u

Alexandra’s POV Even warm water with bubbles and essential oils didn’t help me shake off the tiredness of the day. The whole thing—preparing with Samantha, Joe’s confession, checking new showrooms, running around the city trying to chase down the right supplies—left me drained, both in my body and in my head. I glanced at the clock. Still only 9 pm. Sebastian wasn’t supposed to be back for another hour. I dropped onto the bed, too tired to even read or draw. My body felt heavy, every muscle aching for rest, but my mind wouldn’t settle. There was this strange ache in my chest, half longing, half nerves. I missed him—missed how he could easily soothe with just one look, one touch. Then, out of nowhere, the image of the Sebastian’s face during our morning shower came to me, his eyes dark with lust, his fingers driving deep inside me. Heat shot through my belly, and my cheeks flared. I could almost feel again how hot his lips had been ag

Alexandra’s POV I was sitting in the café waiting for Joe. I sipped my coffee and smiled, remembering how Samantha whimpered in disappointment when I told her there would be no grand reception for my Luna ceremony. She was upset and said that for what I actually wanted she’d need only two days to arrange it. My thoughts drifted to Sebastian — how his fingers had driven me wild in the shower. My cheek flushed, remembering how I trembled under his touch; even though I was embarrassed, I thought he’d opened Pandora’s box. Now that I had tasted release, I wanted more and more. The memory stirred a restless ache inside me, a warmth that I couldn’t easily ignore, even here in public. I caught myself biting my lip, feeling ashamed of how desperately I craved him. It was strange how quickly my body and heart had become so dependent on him, like he had awakened something inside me, some wild fire that had always been sleeping.

Alexandra’s POV Sebastian was still asleep, cute and innocent with his lips slightly parted, making light snoring sounds. “Goodie goodie good morning,” I sang softly, setting the breakfast tray on the side table. He stirred and stretched, opening his eyes. “Good morning,” he replied, pulling me closer and pecking my lips. “What is this delicious smell?” “I made pancakes, bacon, and eggs for breakfast,” I said. “I’d rather have you for my breakfast,” he joked, nibbling my earlobe, but then he let me go and sat up. I passed the tray onto the bed, and we both grabbed forks. “Mmm,” Sebastian moaned as he bit into a pancake. I smiled. “Glad you like it. I fell asleep early last night waiting for you, so I woke up energized and made breakfast.” He chewed and said, “No,

Sebastian’s POV“I never expected my friend and beta to be such a cock-blocker,” I scolded Julian, giving him a light slap on the back of his head. “I’ve never barged into your bedroom.”“It wasn’t exactly a bedroom, Seb,” Julian whimpered dramatically, rubbing the place where I’d slapped him.“Regardless,” I said sternly as I walked to my study with him.We sat across from each other at the table and I asked, “So what was so urgent that you had to interrupt such a fine afternoon?”“I questioned the rogue leader about Mirabel’s death,” Julian said. “He confirmed it definitely wasn’t the rogue pack. They haven’t had any newly turned rogues in the area too for the last two weeks. They regularly patrol the unclaimed lands and detected no unusual movements.”“Long story short — what is he implying?” I le

Alexandra’s POV After the funeral, I went to my study to sublimate my energy into painting. Again, my heart poured onto the canvas in the shape of a white wolf. This time, the wolf raced through a beautiful meadow, careless and free. I focused, adding stroke after stroke, when I suddenly smelled him. I turned and saw Sebastian leaning in the door frame. “You look so cute — sticking the end of your tongue out. So concentrated,” he teased. I huffed, annoyed. “Stop sneaking up on me. I have a bad history with stalkers.” He came closer to check my painting. “Well, get used to it. I’m with you for a lifetime. And great work, by the way.” He added, “I always wanted to try painting.” I smiled. “Never thought you wanted to be an artist.” He playfully smacked my shoulder. “I don’t want to be an artist. I just want to try painting once.”
