More Questions Not Answered

“What do you plan to do with him?” Lila asked as the elevator doors slid open on the basement floor of the hotel.

“I plan on asking questions, the punishment will depend on the answers I get.” I answered honestly. I could not get the incident with Julian out of my head all day. What he had done made no sense, and I had a theory that someone had told him to. But who?

The elevator doors opened into a short hallway that dead ended at a large iron door with a security guard on either side. Both were watching us as we stepped off the elevator and made our way down the hall. The younger of the two stepped forward and help up a hand for us to halt.

“That’s far enough, no one gets in or out with out Alpha Garrett’s permission.” He practically yelled, though we were only about eight feet away, his voice echoed off the walls irritating all our ears. Wolf hearing was not a joke.
