Shawn's POV

Fire raged in my veins. I wanted very desperately to put it out but for some reason my arms wouldn't move. They were heavy, as heavy as lead.

Why won't they move?

Where am I anyway?

This is a void. Is this the void that was spoken of at the beginning of time? Where is the ocean?

I waited to hear the lap of waves but the only sound filling my ears was the high rage of fire in my veins.

It was so hot. So painful.

Overwhelming.

Why am I in a fire?!

But my voice went no further than my head. All the while I was silently crying in my head while my body continued to burn. Is there no one around to put out the flames?
